If we have no free will, does that mean that these "disencarnate entities" who are teaching the Law of Attraction are lying to us? Why would they do that?
And if you cannot will events into happening, then why is it that many, including myself, find the Law of Attraction works - you can manipulate circumstances to turn out exactly as you envision or affirm them.

You are "free" to believe whatever U want. HOWEVER, if U ask me-"disencarnate entities", Jesus Christ Or Ms.Piggy are all great concepts to be enjoyed
You are kidding yourself if you think you can manipulate circumstances ALL THE TIME. CAN YOU? NO chance. Sometimes you can & sometimes you can't (no matter how hard you try).
Do an experiment, keep trying to manipulate life YOUR way & see what happens ok? First control an itch, a thought, a sneeze, a friends reaction, ur boss- does it work?
I can only talk about what I know...To me LIFE IS A HAPPENING...and there's is only the APPEARANCE of choice...but in essense NONE...and I am a Happening...
Timely. I took a couch to an auction house with my business partner. After we unloaded it he got into a big fight with the auction house owner over some tiny matter and wouldn't budge. Right on schedule, the owner yelled "Put that couch back on their trailer - I won't deal with this nut!"
My partner is always doing this, so I said, "You're friggin' nuts!" He replied he has a blood sugar problem. If he misses lunch he freaks out. So much for free will - with him it's all blood chemistry ;')
You can always find something/someone to blame when it's not going your way... Life is a Happening...No Blame, no Credit...Live your life knowing that "fortunately or unfortunately" It's EXACTLY AS IT CAN ONLY BE. If IT COULD BE DIFFERENT, IT WOULD BE DIFFERENT! Relax! and live through "your miserable/happy life" in peace.
But if there's no free will, blaming or not blaming is also not a choice. For that matter, whether or not you do the spiritual search is not a choice. Which means the only choice is to not make a choice since you can't anyway. But is giving up on choices not a choice, too? Or is that the Only time you get a choice?
Hmm, I guess this line of thinking can really take a load off your mind, though.
My Darling Buddha said "Deeds are done, but there is no individual doer...Now you figure it Out or Not! Your choice!
In the meantime - take a load off and live as if life is living you, not minding what you choose. And that - fortunately or unfortunately - is also NOT A CHOICE!) So what is one to do?? Well, Shut UP and Be Happy and don't worry about your choices AT ALL! And if you can hear this - seems obvious to me, that the choice for peace has already been made...love Dvorah

The Path is, but no traveller on it is seen.
Now do you see why this does not mean there is no free will?
