  • can you use the cooking liquid you dumped out as a bbq sauce or would it be too salty? seems like lots of flavor in that esp. w/ all the pork juices all slo-cooked into it. would you add some ketchup to the cooking liquid or something. i dont know

  • I finally got to make these ribs tonight and they were spectacularly good! I didn't add the ginger cos my wife doesn't like ginger and I can't get liquid smoke but the result was awesome. I left out the booze but added chilli powder.

    Well the store to buy food sells live crabs al the time.

    I have not worked with a live crab, but I know how to do it.

    The problem that I have with using that is the shells are very hard and how do you crack open the shells after it is cooked?

    Isn't is very messy to eat?

  • Actually, it is better to cut up the crabs first. Using a butcher knife to cut them up and crack the claws,etc. And yes its quite messy, but it is delicious. Eat it with a little bread, wham mo! You've got yourself a spicy meatball!

  • omg i made them and they were greate i loved it i was able to make my own and added some off a diffrent things becaause i didnot have all of the things in this vid..insted of bbq sauce i used terriyaki glaze and there was less things i used to marinade the ribs... after i had made my own..they were so good and had a spicy sweet taste...me and my familly loved it...but waching this vid gave me my own idea and some of his own...

    You take someone's version and make it your own with the ingredients that you have or sound good to you.

    Many times I will look at 3 or 4 versions of the same recipe and then pick and choose between the 4 versions.

  • Have you ever considered an indoor electric grill? I lived in an apartment for 20 years of my life and that was the only way we could have a "cookout." It was not half bad, gotta tell you. In fact, I am currently considering getting one for days I just don't feel like tending a fire. This recipe looks AWESOME!

  • Those are definitely some tender, juicy ribs. I can tell just from looking at how easily you cut them. Your marinade is great. I wrote down the ingredients for the 4th of July when I'll be bbqing. Thanks!! :)

  • You can also use pineapple juice instead of apple or a combination of the 2 if you like.

  • O gosh I don't know ... I will have to think about that; but I would like to think that the ribs don't absorb too much of the soy sauce, and I do throw all of the sauce away after baking.

    I moved from San Diego to Evansville for my Mom.

    This is pretty bad to say, but I wish that I didn't move.

    She is fine now and has no symptoms of cancer.

    I really miss the fantastic mild weather that requires no electricity for heat and cooling to make you comfortable.

    As you know... CA residents use no where the amount of energy that the rest of the USA uses in comparison.

    I would say that at least in a couple years that I WILL be able to rent or buy a place to BBQ :)
