  • you might slow down in your video presentation. some get motion sick. If not, my loss I guess. I will only press replay so many times and I still miss out from you going too fast. The Corvair IS beautiful!

  • @whiteribbonman1 sorry! :)

  • @AreWildZ28 My biggest dilemma. . . . . .I once had the money to buy a car and had a Corvair and a Beetle in front ot me. I chose the Beetle and have been sorry ever since. I knew I would enjoy the Beetle, but didn't think about my children all getting bigger. Now my oldest can not comfortably fit into the Beetle. The Corvair would have been such a nicer choice, I think at least. If I live long enough, like the song says "tomorrow. . . . . . .tomorrow. . . . . . . . .there's always tomorrow".

  • it feels like seeing your ex with another man

  • LMAO!

  • nader was the first of his kind.

He fought the law, and americans were the winners from his struggles.

I love the corvairs, i am currently restoring a 66 corsa turbo.

But ralph nader is one of the most patriotic americans ever. He fought for the masses, he fought for safety. I only wish i could have seen him speak when i was going to college in montana. My only regret.

And not saving up enough to buy my uncles Monza......

  • Interesting reply...thanks...I have another friend that has a '66 Corsa Turbo..I also had the chance to see Ralph Nader while in college..didn't either...Do you ever watch CORVAIRWILD's vids? Hes a friend of mine..lol

  • that's a well kept car !!!

  • LOL..... :)

  • The Corvair was just a little dangerous up until '64 when they completely changed the rear axle design to the same as the Corvette.

Ralph Nader was trying to make a name for himself, that's all!

Yes, it was of America's coolest cars ever built, AKA America's Volkswagen!

There is a huge group of people into Corvair's and it's still one of the most affordable collector cars in the hobby today, just don't tell anyone OK!

  • Didn't see this reply either....YES! Ralph Nader....FNADER! LOL :)

  • i like it Roxy 5/5 for the skulls

  • Thanks..... :)

  • Lol...Hes never on the same page...can't even make to the Presidential race.....he-he

  • Very nice Corvair. I love those mags!!

  • The wheels are nice.... :)

  • Thanks Roxy, Nice to see the old car, looks like it's still in great shape too, except all the stuff stuck on it, just hope he can put it back to original at some point!

I had a lot of fun with that car too. Did Mike tell you I got a speeding ticket when he came down from NY to look at the car in VA when I took him out for a ride, oppps?

    Thanks Again, Barry

  • Glad you liked it...I know it wasn't that long...but I really can't upload vids. that are too long...have so much stuff on here..No, I never heard about that! He got a speeding ticket not too long ago driving His Jeep....He was doing 85..I said "What"!

  • I thought you could post up to 10 minutes of VID on here but it was long enough, I just wanted to see some more detail of it as it is today.

Please tell Mike I said hello OK!

    Thanks Again Roxy, Barry

  • Whew....10 mins? This computer won't take it...TOO much on here...lol

  • It looks like it has the telescopic wheel option too! Nice American Racing mags too! The Corvair is such a sharp looking car, even the 4-door hardtop version of the later offerings. The white Chevelle, where was the air conditioning stuff? Removed? UGH! I hope I was wrong, and the compressor was there!

  • Yes it does have a telescopic plastic wheel and did you also see the very rare headrest buckets seats? It also has 4 way flashers too!

  • UGH! How could I miss those, but in all honesty, they are standard on all cars now, so we take this for granted. And yes, the knob for the 4-ways!

  • I have the parts for the Chevelle...lol...thats how it came...It would be nice if it did work!

  • Just like the A/C parts for my wagon did. All these 'experts' who rip it apart, then get so scared to put it back together, then hand it to the next person - you! - in a basket - and say 'it is yours now, fix it!' It is not too hard to get working. Hopefully all the parts indeed are there!

  • Spiked, If you have a wagon, come join us over on the Station Wagon Forum, I can't post the link but there is pretty much one of them, just do a search, you'll find it!

A lot of good information, PICS & discussion about all wagon's.

I'm AKA Clark Griswold on the forum, check us out!

  • Thanks, I do have one, that is a 1972 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser. I will look for the link.

  • great vid

  • Thx....
