why pay for plaster wrap when you have it already in the kitchen? I used papertowels dipped in soft plaster of Paris soup. It makes a great hard shell of mountains.
I found a can builder's foam the best. It's fast, quick drying and can be cut and shaped very easy. If you need to cover item's already fixed then cover up with paper. Also very fast and easy to remove and reshape. Tree's just push in. (i use a drop of white PVA wood glue to secure. Just wall paper paste over and add grass. I hope this has helped.
Woodland Scenics makes some okay products. Iam on my third layout and AZ Rock and Mineral makes awesome ballast,more realistic and doesnt float when you glue it down.
