@DiamanteSPK One way is, You got to catch your dog in the act, When Your dog does that to his teeth or her teeth, you say the word immediately "Show me your teeth!" And give the dog a treat everytime. He/She will begin to realize that if you do it all the time. After a couple of times you can say show me your teeth and she/he will remember and they will show you their teeth. Some dogs may take a while to train. Dont give up.

Great dog! He is really speaking english words! He tries so hard to understand what is wanted and to please. If humans tried that hard, we could talk with them. Why is it dogs can understand between 150-250 human signs, words, motions, etc. as well as "Stop! That hurts!" even in their dog and cat friends but humans barely understand a dozen of theirs--and we regularly, purposely cause others pain...if humans are so smart?

That's a little extreme to say that this is animal cruelty, the dog is obviously enjoying it and the attention. I've been in the vet field for years and know animal cruelty. It's still great to watch. I just think that everything sounds the same, unless I'm not listening good enough. Praise to you anyway for being able to train your dog. I still don't have the patience. :)

I think this video is cute. he is just training his dog, and he is giving him treats when he does a trick. not cruel at all, and with the trick "show me your teeth" it also lets you see how healthy his teeth are. With most other dogs you have to force their mouths open just to check their teeth, but if you can train your dog to show you on command then you won't have the hassle of forcing his mouth open. That trick is a good health check:) Cute dog:)
