He is. I also didn't think so at first but it does say 'Stanley was glad there was no racial issues at the camp. He, Zigzag and Squid were white, Xray, Armpit and Zero were black. Magnet was Mexican (different word but I can't remember it). But out on the lake they were all a reddish-brown. The colour of dirt.' I hope that helped. XD
