This is not a Scottish dance at all as it's more likely to be from the Northern English counties of Yorkshire, Durham or Northumberland

it was the first time I had saw this sort of dance, i was amazed at it, I was half cut on a good malt but I still remember it very well. they done a workshop on the island and taught some glasgow boys some moves, I have them in the pub doing this too. Might put it on later sometime
