unfortunately, they are our distant cousins. we just happened to evolve so much to get phobias of all kinds lol.

and yes, i hate them, they`re disgusting little pests. rofl. i used to hit them hard, so many times, yet in 4-5 mins, they`d have disappeared from the place. they just...survive. so, i started blocking their trachea by pouring a drop of oil near their neck area which kills it eventually. but still, the worst thing is to catch a cockroach staying static and immobile. irritating pests.

Here's the secret. Don't just throw it in the toilet and flush. Flush first - get that swirling action going and then throw them in. Otherwise I've seen them crawl back up - yuck.

This may have been a big mofo ... but the thing that gives me willies the worst about cockroaches is when you turn on the light in the kitchen at night and they all scurry. (I don't have roaches now ... only vermin in my house are mice.)
