@ssj5goku999 you need to get the space armour suit. you buy it at the store. if the store says you are not connected to EA servers, just ignore it and press the button to go to the store inventory. buy the suit and go in the door.

The minus of DS2 is that the creators thought about the option to start the game by using your end-game save from the first game. But rather than giving us back the equipment from the first game, you get only Issac's Plasma Cutter skin (which cused some RAGE). On second thought, the game would've been waaay too easy if players had their upgraded marine armors with upgraded weapons from the very start.

@dlkohl1981 It's probably manual override. There might be an automatic system, but it may been damage. It may also be that Isaac doesn't really any tools used for the city to begin with (except the ones he used to make his gun..)
