How to administer pet medication as in eye drops or pills

@spalespaske If you don't have any help to do this then don't you think it's worth a try? Or you could just whine and compalin and asume your cat is hopeless that you can't give the medication so the animal suffers.

That's great to hear. My cat has a cronic eye condition so now he's so used to it that I don't even need to wrap him up anymore. I hope your cat gets well soon!

This WORKS! thank you thank you thank you!! My new cat was the squirrelist escape artist and so upset when I tried to do it before, but putting her in the bathrobe and holding her like a baby was all it took. And she didn't seem upset afterwards!

Great if your cat does not mind being held like a baby. Also, if your cat is really sick, the cat will not be this cooperative.  Have been through a week of that and it is not this easy, believe me. Veterinary videos are more realistic, so would recommend those for people dealing with stressed out, sick animals.

@shearerbug My cat Charlie would never let me hold him like a baby but when I restrained him to a confined area and wrapped him up, he had no choice but to take the eye medicine. It isn't much different from what vets do except that they have two people so you don’t have put the cat on its back. My method worked beautifully for me and my very squirmy and strong cat because I didn't have any one to help me like the vets do.
