Thanks for the videos, I have been interested in getting a crossbow, my dad is a big time hunter, cant say I ever w as interested so much. But recently I have found an interest in crossbow's, what would you suggest for someone who wants to start out? What would you consider a great starter crossbow? I figured with your knowledge and videos that I could trust your opinion. Thank you.
as accurate as that is do you think you could put a bolt through the chronograph at a hundred yards see the down range speed? to see what kind of drag the vanes have . they seem to flap in slow mo just a thought.
How many times have you fired your Tac? Have you noticed any unusual wear on the string or it about on par with other crossbows?
Thank you for making these videos. They are very informative and really helped me decide on a X-Bow. Mine didn't come with very good instructions or the DVD that they normally come with. I can't figure out for the life of me how the crank attaches to the hand guard? Does it attach in some way?

What scope are you running? I can't find one without all the holdovers on it. I'm going to use the HHA tape so I just want a plane jane scope with one X.
what weight is the arrow reccommended to be for this beast? or what weight were you shooting? I've always wanted to go to africa and am trying to decide between using my 80lb bow, a tac-15 or a .600 overkill
i called pse and they said that when you pull out the cord DO NOT pull it back past the d loop cause there is like 3 inches of the crank cord left and it unwinds this will cause your shot to be off by 5 to 6 inches cause it cocks the string so yeah you have to rewind it if you do that and wind it back up right i did that and now it dont make that breaking noise about 3 turns with the crank when i recocking the xbow thanks izell, travis
hey izell when you crank your bow back about the 3rd rotate back it seems like the gears skip a beat does it do that in your tac 15 also i put the arrow in and started to crank it back and it skipped and my arrow jumped ab out 20 feet in front of me thanks trav
The arrows last until you destroy them or loose them some times the fletching is damaged from shooting and may come off thee nock end will last longer if they are glued in place these arrow should last along time.
i chronographed my tac15i and it did roughly 406 to 408 fps like the video love the crossbow when i get a working camera i will send you some of my videos and did you know if you hold down the pin you push to let down the draw, it will crank(draw) quietly you wont have that loud clicking noise when drawing in a treestand while hunting just thought i would throw that out there cause you mentioned you wanted to take it hunting hope i helped out a bit
Did you find the Tac15 heavy in the front? It seems like it might be a little tough to balance from a standing position.
You have a steady aim. Good shot.

Who the hell wants to lug a crossbow around that weighs a ton. It's not going to make good hunting crossbow. Another Over rated PSE piece of shit.
bluegrasssingingman 9 months ago
@PERGJAKSI $1399 not including receiver. tac 15i doesn't need a receiver, it comes with the whole thing, and that's $1499.99
