Can you provide the references for the 12 Legions in Jospehus and also the day and the hour that he records. The next time someone quotes that verse, ain't nobody knows the day and the hour I'm gonna give them it!
problems i have with the 70 generations "prophecy" (i put it in quotation marks because i'm not sure about this book)
1) its says after 70 generations after the binding of these demons will "be judgement that is for ever" where they will be "led off to the abyss of fire: and to the torment and the prison in which they shall be confined for ever" (1 Enoch 10: 12-14)
2) seventy generations after enoch was Christ's first coming (Luke 3: 23-37)
According to 1 Enoch 10.12, this judgment was to occur “seventy generations” from Enoch, during which time the angels who sinned were to be kept in bonds “until the day of the consummation, the great judgment in which the age shall be consummated” (16.1-2).
the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:14) all the thirsty drank, and were filled with wisdom, having their habitation with the righteous, the elect, and the holy. (Enoch 48:1 {48:1})
In my Father's house are many mansions (John 14:2) In that day shall the Elect One sit upon a throne of glory, and shall choose their conditions and countless habitations. (Enoch 45:3 {45:3})
the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the son (John 5:22). the principal part of the judgment was assigned to him, the Son of man. (Enoch 69:27 {68:39})
here are some paralel passages of Jesus vs Enoch: Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. (Mat 5:5) The elect shall possess light, joy and peace, and they shall inherit the earth. (Enoch 5:7 {6:9})
