@AsKeN1998 im 13 i have baby fat still... i wrestle and in wrestling my abs started to come in during training... and im not fat, i just have the baby fat and my abs show right on top of them its just i need to work on my lower abs because of the baby fat , but i alrready have the upper abs so ur wrong. Joebama96- try out the six inches work out. i promise you will feel it. I have been restling for a while, and about 4 months ago started body building, and these workouts are a key role in just being healthy, you dont haft to be a body builder to do these work outs. everyone should try to be healthy.
It is obvious those are some really worked abs for someone so skinny, but dude, stop focusing on your abs and start focusing on the rest of your body, and eat.
What's your major? Same thing I hear about not being able to train the upper chest region...Bench press is just bench press irregardless of incline or flat!?! Do you workout; I mean really really workout? Try roman chair and then try lying leg raise on a bench. Tell me what do you feel? Same.....??
Thank you. Despite currently not having a bar to hang from, I just performed all these exercise the way you directed and feel the benefit already, so thank you. As for the L-hang, I also try this sat on the floor with arms in the air... not a bad alternative. Always great to find alternative exercises ... I did a search for lower abdominal exercises and yours was in the top. Thanks again - great video.
Old Joke: Man walks into doctor's office, raises his arm about head, say it hurts when I do this. Doc says don't do that! Apply that simple rule to exercising, especially shoulder exercises. Shoulder structure and elbow structure to a lessor extent varies quite a bit individual to indvidual. So NEVER extend a barbell to the point it causes pain, example lateral or alternate arm raises.
This can cause a warm full tight feeling that last minutes to hours after you stop exercising because the muscles exercised become engorged with blood and take time to return to normal. The 4th feeling should ring an alarm. You should never feel outright pain while exercising. If you do, stop, if you don't you can end up with tendon or legimate damage which can take weeks to months to heal. Feeling slightly sore, stiff or straiing to do the last couple reps is NOT what I'm talking about.
There are generally 4 feelings associated with exercising. The first just explained below is due to the muscles being used. This is normal and should go away in a day or two and first appears 12-36 hours AFTER you exercise. The "burn" sensation happens during exercise and is a result of waste products building up in the muscle which interfers with how well a muscle contracts. The 3rd senation is the "pump" when blood vessels dilate more allowing more blood to reach muscle.
Your abs are already fully formed. If you see a 6 pack or rarely an 8 pack depends on genetics and your fat percentage. Most everyone begins seeing a 4 pack. That's because the fat deposit is less at top and more at the bottom of the abs region. Only when you burn away fat that lies on top of the ab muscle does it start to reveal itself. When you use any muscles you haven't before or more stressfully they will hurt slightly for a day or two afterwards.
Is it good if your abs burn after you have done the exercise because yester day I don this an 62 reps on the ab roller and my abs are burning for the past day and a half and I just wanted to know if it is good for your abs like are they forming ( I currently have a 4 PAC )
Instead use your contraction to pull your shoulders, chest and shoulder blades slowly up off the floor. Do NOT try to sit up! Your shoulders should be just about 9 inches off the floor. Dont' guess, measure or have someone measure for you until you know how much you're lifting up. Hold for a couple seconds. SLOWLY lower as you inhale. Another huge mistake... Do NOT relax tension when your head touches floor. HOLD the contraction and do the next crunch. Continue to you can't do more.
One of the best ab exercises is the crunch. 99% of those doing this exercise do it wrong! Lie flat on floor, knees bent. Do NOT interlace fingers and place behind head. You hands can be crossed on your chest (easier) or palms down along your sides NOT under or holding your butt. Contract your abs HARD as you exhale, imagine your rib cage getting pulled towards your hip bone. Now here is where most people mess up. Do NOT use momentum to lift your body.
That you can't do exercies for lower abs is a red herring. Google lower abs as a term you get back over 7,000,000 hits. While it is true the rectus abdominis is a single muscle that doesn't mean certain exercies arent more effect on one area more, just like the same applies to angle of bench and placement of arms when you're talking how a bench press impacts your pecs (pectoralis major muscle)
Since your Bowflex2 comes with a preacher attachment, I'd use that to get some heaiver bicep curls in. The advance of a preacher attachment is it makes it almost impossible to cheat forcing the bicep to do all the work. If you really are limited to 15 lb curls and that isn't a typo, this will help. Even if you can't do more than 6-8 reps doing that with 20 pounds is better than 15 reps at 15 pound.
Regardless if you use barbells, dumbbells or something like A Bowflex the key is still the same, progressive resistance, meaning overtime you add heavier weight or resistance. What jumps out are your Tricep pushdowns and more so your standing bicep curls. If you want bigger arms, increase the weight, drop the reps. For tricep pushdowns the last few reps should really cause a burn, and find it hard to finish the set. If not, add more weight. You using 1 or 2 hands for bicep curls
Hey I NEED help plz someone answer me lol. i really want bigger arms, atm i'm going for muscle mass and I made this workout with what I got. are those ankle weights? if so can you please tell me if they can get you like hurt or something, im 13 and i play soccer if i use those to run with ( 1kg ) like 3km will i get hurt or anything :) please answer and i subscribed!
@Bosnjakovic10 You usually don't use them to run from what I've seen, there more for certain leg exercises, it is actually bad for your knees and ankles to run with them.. By the way, I'm 13 too.
I notice u dont work on your negative strength, like you showed on the " knees to chest (vertically) " after lifting your legs, you just let them fall, why?
Amazing vertical leg raises... your abs are great!... But next time you should oil down your body with baby oil or body oil so that you can show more definition on your body... especially the abs...
you can c how much bigger he has gotten when he is standing talking when he lifts his his arm up u can u that big arm and his 8 pack and big chest im going 2 train harder to get like this
Hey Artem... I'm curious HOW you position your hands "under your butt". Do you have your palms up and actually hold on to your buttocks OR are your hands very near, but along side your butt, palms facing down towards floor, fingers slightly spread? That is how it is taught in the National Guard and US Army Guard Fittness Challenge
Is this try to beat up on Joutchkov week, I must have not got the memo. If you enter "lower abs" in a Google search you get over six million hits, so I guess he's in good company. While it is true the rectus abdominis is one large muscle it is also true certain exercises TARGET specific areas, just like that is true for other muscles.
im no body builder or anything but on the 6 inches u did..........they were wrong cuz when u put ur hands under ur butt ur not working anything it just helps u if u really want 6 inches to work hands go beside u not under you.
@Joebama96 Actually it helps prevent back injury, Doesn't make it any easier, and I was instructed and told this by a Coach that gets paid thousands of dollars at my Highschool.
@Joutchkov im sorry i enjoy your videos, but putting your hands under your butt while you are doing almost any leg incorporated ab workout makes the ab workout easier. he says it in p90x, and im sorry but i think tony horton from p90x and numerous other multi million exercise videos knows more than your high school coach.
@landon665 I guess you don't REALLY know Tony Horton. Exercise expert? Hardly. More a PITCH MAN out to make a fast buck. He moved to LA, to try to become an actor. He earned a living as a 2nd rate stand-up comedian. He was a PAID huckster for Nordic Trac and for awhile was a host on 360, some third rate "entertainment" shows on the Playboy channel. Now if you are foolish enough to call this guy an exercice guru, be my guest. I'll just laugh.
When you do floor work, do you press your spine into the floor, or do you let it arch up a little? I've gotten both kinds of advice, just wondering what works for you.
Not hating just stating plain facts. You cannot work lower abs because your abs are really just one long muscle called the rectus abdominis, that extends from below your chest to your pelvis. As this being the case you are working the whole muscle instead of just one specific part of the muscle no matter what ab exercise you do. The abs are fully divided up into four muscles the rectus abdominis, internal and external obliques and the transverse abdominis. Case being one cannot work lower abs
@yaduhman Please explain how I'm being stupid? I'm only stating facts. 2ndly people must care because they are looking up a video on how to get better abs
@AustinTheCoco1 That is just plain medical point of view! Not from a sports' professional. Depending on the kind of abs exercise. You can either target more on the upper abs(intercoastal regions) or the lower abs (obliques region). There are more than 600 muscle groups in the human body including stabilising & core muscles.
@AustinTheCoco1 You can work different parts of the one muscle... the same way that you can work all the different tricep heads and even different parts of your bicep.
You can actually feel the different points being worked while ur doing the workout Lol.
Nice video bro, screw all the haters on here who are jealous, do what u do and keep sharing it. Can't please everyone all the time! But ur still doin a gr8 job at showin what worked for u ;-)
You are retarded.. You do not need to do cardio to gain abs. You need to diet and work them. If you diet right, you won't need to touch a cardio machine in your life you big faggot
Awesome video. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.
Keep doing what you do, I know you are enough of a person to disregard these loser/haters, who apparently have some twiisted need to cuss someone anonymously and say nothing constructive. You don't need throbbing veins showing in your neck or a steroid source to be fit or get definition. Thanks for sharing what has worked for you, your videos are well done and the real tests are your consistently high 'video views' and like/dislike ratios.
Why is everybody hating on a 15 year old.... and is it necessary to brag about having a better body than a highschooler? Also anybody can be a bodybuilder even if they don't look like Arnold Schwarzenegger because a bodybuilder is someone who builds muscle.
@madebecuzofbodybuild I know he doesn't have much muscle but at least he is trying. I even know people like him too. They eat loads of food and exercise but they can't gain muscle because of their genetics and really high metabolism.
nice but u need to work on ur sholders.... get a realy heavy wate in each hand or ofc some kind of 2 handed wate stand up and lift ur sholders to ur ears keep doing this :D
LOL I was definitey "nodding my head" at EXACTLY the time you put that on at 1:40. It's exactly what I have. 4-pack with the little bit of ab flab just there right as you described.
you do have the most prefect body that i have ever seen in my life, most people would kill to have a body like that, the people that say they dont like it are the ugly people that can never look like you do, you have it all, the body and looks to go with it. just keep posting
those abs you have are phenomenal dude! you should always be proud.....because you look so extraordinarily awesome! i look forward to each new video you make with great anticipation! thank you for being here and sharing your wisdom and knowledge ......and YOURSELF!!! :-) and..... thank you again for being *barefoot* and shirtless in this vid :-)
You are sooo incredibly gorgeous and sculptured and goodlooking! a total Inspiration!!! :) :) :) Hugs!
Sweetness! You put my current ab workout to shame... but great things to incorporate. Never think ankle weights with abs but its a smart addition for a little extra resistance.
Awesome videos, and awesome progress, Joutchkov!! Keep up all the great work (-outs), and keep posting videos, please. You have real potential as a fitness model, and fitness trainer!
These videos have really helped motivate me to do more and different workouts. I was wondering if you would consider making some 10 or 15 minute videos of some of your workout routines so I could do the exercises along with you. sort of a 'workout partner' thing. maybe you already have done some like that, idk 'cause I haven't actually watched all your videos, I only just watched like the 4 or 5 most recent ones. Thanks. You're super likeable and the videos are very informative. :)
@EmEeeBee Yeah, I was thinking along similar lines. If we had like a video of a full ab/upper body circuit workout of yours that was then shortened via timelapse to fit the time requirements of youtube and you narrated on top of it that would be REALLY imformative (and super cool!). Great to see the order of exercises in addition to the exercises themselves. Keep up the fantastic work, glad you didnt get captured or arrested by the KGB, haha
outstanding, motivating, informative ... not enuff good adjectives ... continue the awesome job man .... & thanks for that particular lower-ab focus ... gotta get back to "some" :P of those workouts ... bravo J !
Come to think this amazing young man is still sharing the very best of his workouts, even being on vacation. I'm truly grateful for this, dude, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.
cool vid! Those abs looked particularly amazing and stood up when you did the exercise where you were laying on the floor with your head near the camera as it really showed their definition. great job again

@AustinTheCoco1 because they do not exist. Again I'm not hating I am just stating plain facts.

@AustinTheCoco1 ur being stupid (no1 cares)
yaduhman 7 months ago
@yaduhman Please explain how I'm being stupid? I'm only stating facts. 2ndly people must care because they are looking up a video on how to get better abs
AustinTheCoco1 7 months ago
@AustinTheCoco1 This is true and you've done your studies but let people try this, better then doing nothing but thanks for informing others :)
sxclatino 6 months ago
@AustinTheCoco1 That is just plain medical point of view! Not from a sports' professional. Depending on the kind of abs exercise. You can either target more on the upper abs(intercoastal regions) or the lower abs (obliques region). There are more than 600 muscle groups in the human body including stabilising & core muscles.
masaomieric 3 months ago
@masaomieric No such things as "lower abs". Obliques would be the medial region of the abdominals.
AustinTheCoco1 3 months ago
@AustinTheCoco1 You can work different parts of the one muscle... the same way that you can work all the different tricep heads and even different parts of your bicep.
You can actually feel the different points being worked while ur doing the workout Lol.

Nice video bro, screw all the haters on here who are jealous, do what u do and keep sharing it. Can't please everyone all the time! But ur still doin a gr8 job at showin what worked for u ;-)
osirisboi79 7 months ago 2
You are retarded.. You do not need to do cardio to gain abs. You need to diet and work them. If you diet right, you won't need to touch a cardio machine in your life you big faggot

Awesome video. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

Clearly the IFBBteenPro fag from the forum. You just copy paste that shit everywhere.

Higotatski 7 months ago 2
@Higotatski That may be true hig but this kid is lacking the muscle part of that paragraph.
madebecuzofbodybuild 7 months ago
@madebecuzofbodybuild I know he doesn't have much muscle but at least he is trying. I even know people like him too. They eat loads of food and exercise but they can't gain muscle because of their genetics and really high metabolism.

Sweetness! You put my current ab workout to shame... but great things to incorporate. Never think ankle weights with abs but its a smart addition for a little extra resistance.

EmEeeBee 7 months ago
@EmEeeBee Yeah, I was thinking along similar lines. If we had like a video of a full ab/upper body circuit workout of yours that was then shortened via timelapse to fit the time requirements of youtube and you narrated on top of it that would be REALLY imformative (and super cool!). Great to see the order of exercises in addition to the exercises themselves. Keep up the fantastic work, glad you didnt get captured or arrested by the KGB, haha
