No one is twisting anyone's words! First, what she said about Bill Clinton was false, Tsognas had dropped out before Calif. giving the nomination to Clinton, who had no real competition left. Third, no one is pressuring her to quit, what she is upset about is that her candidancy is no longer considered viable, Obama has won.

She can continue to campaign, but what people object to is her insistence she can win the nomination, which she can only do if she convinces the super-delegates to overule the pledged delegates which would destroy the Party. So, lets stop kidding outselves that these remaining primaries have any real meaning.
Telling her that she can't win is pressuring her to quit. Duh! Why bother having super-delegates at all? They just water down the votes of the people. The remaining primaries do have meaning, because once they are over Hillory has no more campaigning to do. It's the nail that shuts the coffin for good.

The Super-delegates were put in place to make sure some one who is not electable is not nominated, not to choose the 'better' candidate. Hillary herself said that Obama can win. Super-delegates are for one reason, to step in to make sure that the Democrats have a legimate chance to win. Hillary has no case to make that Obama CANNOT win and she can. So, no one is pressuring her to stop running, but to face reality.

The Super-delegates were put in place to make sure some one who is not electable is not nominated, not to choose the 'better' candidate. Hillary herself said that Obama can win. Super-delegates are for one reason, to step in to make sure that the Democrats have a legimate chance to win. Hillary has no case to make that Obama CANNOT win and she can. Thats is such bull. I could say the same thing about Obama. I feel like his followers have garnered a much more negative view of the other candidate than what Hillary supporters have of him. This is because Obama has very intentionally tried to portray her as somehow being the candidate of status quo, when her platform is more radical than his (with the exception of her energy policy).

Hillary, compared to Obama, is the candidate of the status quo. She takes money from lobbyists, and she has been in Washington since the early 90's. Obama has not had to try to portray her that way, she is that way. I think Obama made a mistake by going as negative as he has, but he also didn't have a lot of choice. Hillary realized after South Carolina that she had to go negative to have a chance, and that is what she did. You can't deny that.
