i hope they could make a continuation of this series. Kal-El did not die, he was in the DC One million series as superman prime. he passed the responsibilities of being Superman to his heir, and traveled across the universe, from the 21st Century, and returned at the 700th Century. During his travels, he acquired vast abilities and skills which makes him far far more powerful than he is now
Superman save the world from destruction, does everything that some one normal cannot comprehend. The ultimate being. BUT does he have a batcave? i dont think so
This is one of the most disappointing animated movies ever made by DC. This is the story people mixed with Superman Returns. Jimmy is gay in this film, the romance between Lois and Sup is reads more like a porn movie and Lex does things in this that is so ridicules that it made the comic Lex of the 60's and 70's seem realistic. As a standalone film it is good but as a Superman film it lacks what made Superman great entertainment.
Hmm All things created must come to an end....but the good have hope...even in death....and that hope will not be in vain. But that knowledge is veiled from most people even religious ones. So most must settle with faith....
And relating to the movie Lex was wrong when he said we are all what we've got...but he was right to say we are all connected consciousness wise. And consciousness doesn't know distance..perhaps even..time.
First Superman the Movie, then Superman Returns, next Superman Doomsday, and now an ill fate at All Star Superman! Farewell Man of Steel, it was nice knowing you in the comics.
@Jam24511 Not really. This is... kinda an alternate story. The "All-Star" comic series were meant to be stand-alone. Mostly. Elements from this eventually made their way back into the regular DC comics (for instance, Superman's distant future was indeed to spend an enormous amount of time within a star and then emerge as a golden god-like energy being of seemingly limitless power).
Thank goodness they were, because "All-Star Batman and Robin" SUCKED.
@TheZacula "What are you, retarded or something? I'm the goddamn Batman." I don't know, the rest of the book may have sucked, but it almost seems worth it just for the meme value alone.
@TheZacula True, but All-Star Superman was WAY better. True, these days it doesn't take much to outdo Frank Miller, but All-Star Superman was an awesome story. I'm not sure about the movie, though.
@TheZacula All-Star Batman was the greatest comic book series I ever read. The only problem was that it was like DBZ. It takes around a dozen episodes to screw in a light bulb.
yo, you know how at the end he dies, does he actually die or will he come back and face another verison of himself, because that would suck if he does die
Did Superman die before? And then he came back to life (obviously) and then they continued to explain why he could never die?,,, I'm not buying that he dies in this one.
@musstakrakish Yeah he died in the first of these set of films , but this is a different story that they've taken the story from . And im not trying to ruin it for you but yeah he doesn't die .
@journeyanimation1 Yea I figured as much. Since Superman is like the most popular comic hero of all time! And DC would never let something that makes them so much money just die off. And don't worry you didn't ruin this for me, cause I will never see it. lol Mainly cause I am sick and tired of hearing Superman die all the damn time! And he doesn't even die!!! o.O Completely useless!!
And that's my rant for the day. Sorry you where caught in the cross fire. >.<
@musstakrakish Lol , It's cool I understand what you mean . But yeah he doesn't die he just turns into a different entity because of all the solar radiation he took in . All in all it is a pretty good movie except with a few hiccups .
Dicks that steal everything in your apartment and lived upstairs, who started a fight 1 night earlier and got their faced smashed open by a beer bottle.
Yeah I am still bitter about it, plus there was witnesses to the crime, and the cops did NOTHING but close the case. My tax dollars at work, instead they went back to Tim Hortons and drank their coffee since that is all the police are good for in my city, that and framing people for crimes they didn't do.
@snake2006 Wow. Yea I would still be pissed off about that to if I where you. o.O Don't know if it would actually help at all but did you file a complaint to anyone about that? And what city do you live in?
Look up David Milgard, and you will see how stupid the city police are. Framed him for a crime he didn't commit, he spent years in jail for a crime he didn't do. All the evidence pointed to Larry Fisher from the get go, but framed a innocent man because it was faster.
I would file a complaint but my mayor is just as corrupt and always runs unopposed, and it's been 5 years since it happened.
@snake2006 Wow that's fucked up! Kind of reminds me of West Memphis 3. where three teens where charged for killing 3 eight year olds, even though all the evidence points to the children's stepfather. But since the teens where into bands like Metallica, Black Sabbath, Rob Zombie and most Heavy Metal and read Stephen King people (including lawyers and judges) convicted them of the crime with no actual proof of them doing it! So two have life in jail and one got the Death Penalty!
@levitabusman This is based on a comic book, so the art will be kept simple and looking like the source material. Even then it looks just fine.
If kids these days can still look back at old Dragon Ball Z episodes and enjoy them, with the camera panning over a still image, then they can enjoy this.
@SweetZombiJesus It doesn't look anything like the comic, which has great art. The video also makes the story look boring and conventional, which it isn't at all in either respect.
@SweetZombiJesus It's sad when kids today are born without that sense of wonder towards the magic of what animation means... but when grown ups behave as "graphic whores" (gamer terminology, sorry) that is awful.
Bout time Lex gets to win!... :D

What's with the Dark Knight music?
Also, this movie is so stupid, how the fuck can the sun kill Superman since his POWERS COME FROM THE YELLOW SUN'S RADIATION.
Just like I never figured out how green Kryotonite can kill Superman if that is just pieces of his home planet.
Those things bother me about Superman.
snake2006 11 months ago
Its simple its showed in the first few minutes of the movie.
Think about it why did Lex went to the trouble of to sabotage the ship?
If the Sun was bad for Superman he would just let him and the doctor fly around the Sun and the result would be the same right?
Lex knew Superman would have to save the ship and to extend his bio electric field which is shown in the movie.
The field acts as a filer for all types of radiations just like the ozone lair but much stronger. The doctor said "he knew"

He never died, he was put in a lower powered state when he fought Doomsday. He was close to death though.
It seemed like he was dead but was really in a comma like state till his body got recharged with solar radiation.
When he came back he was severely depowered and eventually gets stronger.
