put luongo in there instead of auld and we own the flamers' butts, end of story. luongo would NOT have let in those stupid flukes and it wouldn't have gone to OT in the first place.
@epicfail86 ya maybe they could have traded for him in the playoffs 3 years before they got him so they could have still not ever won a cup since they are the nhl epitome of a franchise fail.. 40 years of nothing and count.... counting... 50, 60, 70 here they come no stanley for the canucks anytime soon
i'm assuming you're a flames fan and/or a canucks hater. whichever it is, you picked the wrong year to called them a "franchise fail". The cup will be really close soon for vancouver, mark my words.
Winning game 7 just gave Calgary SO much confidence, thats why they beat detroit and San Jose, and should have beat Tampa Bay in 6, except that bettman doesnt want the cup in canada.
I've been to 3 Game 7 games in Vancouver... St. Louis, Dallas, and Calgary. I would say Game 7 Calgary was the best game I've EVER been to. If we won that, it would have been the greatest game in Canuck history!
@kungpaobenji27 I think the best move for CBC should have been to "trade" Bob Cole (with all due respect) to TSN in return of Jim Hughson. If they did that, I'm sure CBC's ratings on hockey would blow off the roof.
Fantastic, I still believe that the turning point in this series is the high stick goal that was counted, without it you won't see a Flames comeback, and we got a whole different type of game 7.
Love how tired the commentator sounds when it reached the 3rd OT

@tupluck699 Yeah Cuthbert seemed like he just wanted to go home.

@epicfail86 Luongo not letting in flukes? My question is how much you have been smoking and what the hell was it?

@epicfail86 LOL CANUCKS ARE A FUCKING FAIL. Your name says it all. 40 years and no cups. Fuck your city.

@epicfail86 Do you think that the Canucks would have won this series if Cloutier had not got hurt?

@dftmmwgitd
Hmm, maybe.
I don't think he's a big upgrade over Auld, though.
