I'm truly, truly dedicated to aviation and am getting prepared for my lifetime job as a commercial pilot, flying for companies such as FedEx. But I'm not talking about commercial airliners, I'm talking about flying the C208B Grand Caravan Single Turbo Prop. I'll be delivering packages in the C208B. I use all my time to gain more and more knowledge about aviation. I can't even explain how dedicated I am to aviation.
I'm 15, and have spent my life, surrounded by planes. Planning on taking lessons next year. I've been saving up the money since I was 10. And I fly in flight simulator x for hours and go to the airport nearby whenever possible. Bought the saitek yoke, rudder pedal system, throttle quadrant, flight headset, and all the pro flight panels. And I have trackir 5. Always contacting the tower in flight simulator x and have a full checklist. Normally fly the C172 by Carenado.
I have 6 hours of flight and plan to solo at 11 hours ...Its the best adventure of my life ..everyone that wants to truly understand what being alive feels like ...FLY
man i want to be a pilot so badd im thirteen and i practice on the simulator every day for hours i love flying and have always loved planes i wish i could start lessonss
@tdstudd1996 maybe you should wait a few year's until you are older and see if it really is the thing you want to do. It's quite expensive and require's you to be mature, dedicated and willing to learn the theory as well as the practical. Anyway good luck though, if you ever do get the chance to do it
@tdstudd1996 Well.... you can here in the uk.. I don't really see the point though, as in the UK, you must be 14 for hours to actually count towards your license. But as long as ya' can see over the controls you can fly with a CFI here.
Once you have tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will long to return. Leonardo da Vinci
My goal is to become a commercial pilot as well. I am currently beginning high school, an I am allready starting to save for my training. I think I am going to have to do parttime jobs aswell if I am going to put together enough money for it. The only I can say for sure right now, is that it is going to be a long and trecherous way to go. But, I am fairly confident that I will manage. After all, I've allready logged up more than 150 hours flighttime in simulators, so i know my stuff.
Hi I am from Sri Lanka, I wanted be a pilot when I was small and tried my level best.. But could not do. Due to high cost. Now I am 31yrs whos attached to the financial sector. My only advise to all of u is dont giveup the idea of becoming a pilot, try ur level best.. Otherwise u will hv to suffer like me.. All the best everybody !!
if you want to become a full time pilot, go to college. i havent started yet but thats what im doing, going to western michigan university. good school
OK, lets brag when you flown in an F-18 and you have 5 other fighter boogies after you and one engine has falied on you and 3 other men are under your fleet and you landed all safely, yeah....then we'll talk
I wanna do my ppl when i can afford it and work towards and instrument rating. To be honest i wouldn't see it as worth it unless i could buy my own aircraft or was heading for an aviation career. Rentals cost too much. But i guess having a ppl would be a good, fun acheivement.
Learning to fly with the C-Skyline is a bit harder, also learning with a dragger. I'd prefer a Zlín Z-142, but I guess they are a bit different, Well done tho!!
im also a student pilot... and a normal pilot on fsx :) hehehehe i wanna become a private pilot when i grow up im 14 :) look out for me on fsx cedricphangkahjun
in all fairness every one is at first, so you may as well just take a trial(youll be nervouse through that as well, but after a few lessons itl break loose

If aviation lessons were under $4,000 I'm sure I could fly one of these depending on how close FSX is to the real thing :/

And yes anyone (even an eight year old) can take flying lessons, but you have to be 16 to solo, so I'm waiting till I'm 15 or so

It's an American Champion 7GCAA. One can learn to fly in ANY plane - high wing, low wing, side-by-side, in-line, etc.
lancermit 5 years ago
I didnt know you could learn in a citabria, if that is a citabria or a decathlon eitherway, I dont really like taildraggers.
marick626 5 years ago
Its a citabria. Tough to land but fun to fly
jameslal 5 years ago
@marick626 Who wouldnt want to learn in that!
