@tiquansworld Its just a cheap camera tri-pod with a wifi card stand attached to it, to allow the wifi card something to plug into and hold it in place, you will need to download a driver for whatever usb wifi adapter card you have in order for it to work.

I`ve built a cantenna out of a dog food can and used a chrome toilet roll stand as the stand taped it all together and now get my cousins wifi much better. Try using a 5 m usb extension lead upto your bedroom

Hey Hotrod, I gotta usb wifi adapter that's got 2 little antennas on it...have u seen this work with any adapters like mine? Hell, i'll probably try it out before you get back to me anyways :)....You know, you can get usb extension cables from e-bay pretty cheap..Don't know how far away your bedroom is, but you can go about 15-20 ft. before you get too much signal loss. I guess there are ways u can go even further; which i am trying to figure out...

other than the actual orginal cost of the wifi usb stick(about 30 bucks) I got it for free from my nephew, the tripod was a dollar from a dollar store and the foil and cardboard box was already in my house.

if it isnt password protected how do you know that it isn't supposed to be free? sometimes there are free signals, sometimes. But unless he hack it then it really ain't nothing wrong, but I do see where you coming from.

Exactlly, its a unlocked wifi signal, if the person didnt want it being tapped into, then they would have password protected it. People jack wifi signals all the time, regardless wheither the signals are supposed to be free or not. I'm not hacking anything at all, I'm simply using a unlocked signal....now, how exactlly could someone catch me using the signal??

To answer your question, If you are connected to a home users wifi that isn't protected, the wifi hub can actually show all computer names and network card id's attached to it. So they could tell if it was not one of their own, and then it could go down hill from there.

No No...100% Free, this isn't one of those wifi cards sold by At&t or whatever, just a cheapo wifi usb stick, you buy it once thats it, the ones you pay for a month can get internet anywhere, those use a cellphone signal, this one I have, you actually have to be near a wifi hot spot, doing my mod, its boosts the range of what it can pick up, yes I'm jacking someone else's signal, not my problem, he should have put a lock on it, since its not locked, its free game!!!!!!!
