Taking Wonder Woman out of the American military and making her a rich LA lawyer was just too brilliant, but let's go all the way and give her an even more widely respected career like maybe drug pusher or Los Vegas prostitute. This is why we need another blacklist to get braindead kneejerk liberal screenwriters out Hollywood until they become capable of original thought.

He thinks to himself that he's fast enough to swoop down and get a peice of snatch and be gone before she opens her eyes. So he swoops down and sure enough he is gone before she open her eyes. Cancelled. I feel bad for those who worked hard on it but hey...that's the gamble. They picked a lousy Wonder Woman though. I don’t get the fascination with girls/ladies with squinty eyes that also look like their top eyelids are retaining a little too much water or they look slightly swollen i.e. just woke up. How can that even compare to the beauty of the eyes of Lynda Carter or even of those drawn in comics or animation? Adrianne looked way too Plain Jane; no signature look; no uniqueness!
Maybe they could set it in the past like Xena or in the future like Dark Angel. If in the past could be her early origins and maybe fight Ares and mythological monsters. If in the future maybe fight super science or alien invaders.

There's more than the costume that doesn't fit her, the attitude and the total disregard of law and order....she has no problems using her magic lasso to torture people to force them to tell the truth....in one occasion, she killed a crook. She has a mini-plane that isn't even invisible. That pilot was rushed out of studios.

There is a reason why Batman is the only major successful televised hero in DC. People will watch this but it wont be successfull. Children, Teens and young adults prefer marvel. it looks real even though its not, batman looks real thats why its always a success.
One problem with the new costume is that it looks like Wonder Woman's magic belt, which is the source of her Amazon powers when she's away from Paradise Island, would be easy to grab during a fight. Once it becomes known that Wonder Woman becomes helpless when her magic belt is removed, a villain would have no trouble taking advantage of her weakness and taking her prisoner. Of coarse, Wonder Woman would recover the magic belt and regain her powers by the end of the episode.

NBC has stated recently that there are three Wonder Woman outfits on the new show. One of the outfits does in fact include the "little blue shorts," according to Robert Greenblatt, NBC president. He says the three costumes were part of the plan all along, and that the shorts are worn in the final scene where she beats her nemesis, Veronica Cale.
I have to admit I am curious about the actual theme song that they will ultimately use; plust the shape and form they will create for the opening sequence. This sequence is neat and all but too 70's.
this show will only be great if they feature wonder woman's foes the cheetah,Doctor Psycho,silver swan,Giganta, other wise it's a crash and burn bore.

@jamierourketen Much like in the comics (particularly over the past 3 decades), she's supposed to have a range of costumes that she wears, depending on the occasion. Personally, I think that is one of the few concepts that "they" (David E. Kelley) got right, though the costume we see for most of the above is pretty crappy (I personally think it looks cheap). As a fan who *really* "gets" the character, I am glad the pilot *wasn't* picked up -- judging by the leaked scripts, it's a mess...

Since Lynda Carter played Wonder Woman on TV in the late 70s and appears in the 2011 pilot, the producers of the new series could do an episode in which the new Wonder Woman (Adrienne Palicki) is captured by villains who strip her of her Amazon powers by removing her magic belt and is rescued by the original Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter) and the two Wonder Women team up to defeat the villains. This is assuming, of coarse, that the new show is picked up by a different network or a cable station.

There is a reason why Batman is the only major successful televised hero in DC. People will watch this but it wont be successfull. Children, Teens and young adults prefer marvel. it looks real even though its not, batman looks real thats why its always a success.

One problem with the new costume is that it looks like Wonder Woman's magic belt, which is the source of her Amazon powers when she's away from Paradise Island, would be easy to grab during a fight. Once it becomes known that Wonder Woman becomes helpless when her magic belt is removed, a villain would have no trouble taking advantage of her weakness and taking her prisoner. Of coarse, Wonder Woman would recover the magic belt and regain her powers by the end of the episode.

SPOILER TOWARD END OF COMMENT.....
NBC has stated recently that there are three Wonder Woman outfits on the new show. One of the outfits does in fact include the "little blue shorts," according to Robert Greenblatt, NBC president. He says the three costumes were part of the plan all along, and that the shorts are worn in the final scene where she beats her nemesis, Veronica Cale.

I have to admit I am curious about the actual theme song that they will ultimately use; plust the shape and form they will create for the opening sequence. This sequence is neat and all but too 70's.
