July 1980 Dire Straits were recording tracks for their third album, "Making Movies", released October 1980 - less than TWO years after Bruces' "Winterland" was released, BUT, (and this IS a bigger butt than J-Lo's) - guess WHO from the E-Street Band played piano on Making Movies? - Roy Bittan!
The chords are C and F. These go like pancakes & syrup. It's gonna happen. Clapton wrote "Let It Grow" before the Eagles "Hotel California", but the chords & structure are real close!
@CallMeMister99 I'd never thought of that before. At first I said "no way" but then I listened to Romeo and Juliet and I make you right. It's a series of little arpeggios and it is very very similar !
Yeah, I just heard that Clarence had passed away. I was hoping to find the studio version of this song. Now I'm not a huge Springsteen fan, but I've always had a ton of respect for Clarence! His solo on the studio version ( and this version as well!) is AMAZING!!! R.I.P., Big Guy!!!!!

Woah! Isn't the piano REAL close to Mark Knopflers' guitar on Dire Straits "Romeo & Juliet"?

@CallMeMister99 jungleland was released 5 years before romeo and juliet so it's Mark Knopflers' guitar that's real close to bittan's piano
