  • I'd call it man in harmony with nature. No conflict here.

  • Wow what a rush, What an experience. Stunning. Man against nature!! well done team!!

  • the really incredible part of this is that they were sailing in only 30 knots of wind, if I'm not mistaken.

  • 63.4 mph, impressive.

  • beautiful :))

  • Esto es navegar y lo demás se queda un poco ridículo a su lado ¿no?

  • I didn't know that french guys are good sailors) except Cousteau)

  • @triduza

There are many great French sailors, especially in multi-hull racing.

  • 1:25 eleven refugees waving the coast guard for help after weeks at sea trying to escape from france

  • 51.36 knots = 95.11872 km/h (1 knot = 1.852 km/h)

  • You are both mistaken my friends: 1 knot=1nautical mile/ hour= 1,852km/h -> 51,36knots=95,8 km/h average speed on a 500 m long course. This is the rule of certificaton.

However, not on this particular course, they peaked as much as 61 knots momentarily (which is rughly 113 km/h), but then they flipped over.

102km/h, what the guy mention here is the top speed of this run.

  • 51kn x 1,7...

  • 102km/h

  • Cool 51 knots , 102km/h.

  • yeah ... it may not seem fast .... but to be that fast and powered by wind is amazing

  • how fast was it going? 90km?

  • @efastMixer Peaked at 102km/h and yes 93km/h over 500m. Also apprenez le francais! Hope its helps.

  • I dont need to know French to know what he is saying.

  • The fastest ship in the French navy....

  • I don't know but doing over 50 knots in anything is hair raising!

  • @leedrumII @leedrumII yeah i'm surprised these guys can even hang on to that thing!!!

  • Heroes

  • Wauw. That must feel totally free.

Let's not hope you meet a whale.

  • that's plain fantastic !

    SWISS technology

  • @

VederchiHarry : why swiss technology? Which parts, equipment came from helvetia?

  • Is this how Ford expects to reinvent itself? That car isn't very practical.

  • Incredible images ! incredible boat ! they deserve it.. and they can go faster. I long to see them on longer distances.

  • yeahh, surfers go home!

  • Switzerland xD

good boats without a own ocean

  • 1 knot (nautical mile) =1.15 miles = 1.1852 km

  • 1knot =1.852 km/h

  • 1 knot = 1.852 km

  • *1.852

  • so 51.36 knots = 95.11872 kph

  • 1 knot = 1,852 km/h

  • the coast guard should get one.. or a few of these...

  • Sensacional, um show de obstinação!

Tiveram n probelmas, mas foram em frente durante anos e conseguiram.

    avelok, the yacht-man sailing magazine

  • Show de competência e abstinação, tentaram , deram emborcadas, o barco partiu, há anos eles vem tentando e finalmente conseguiram!!

    Voilá!!

    avelok, the yacht-man sailing magazine

  • 51.36 knots = 59.1040325 mph .... for all you non-metric viewers ...

  • Knots isn't a metric unit of measurement...

  • Scary fast. No helmets nor life vests. Just big B@ll$

  • A knott is not 1 mile its is 1.852 k's (look in wikipedia) which is over 1.1 miles this works out to 95.12 k's, so richyboyspc was correct, maybe you should get your facts a bit more straight Bucanero007 :-)

  • that is super cool. Congrats!!! Glad to see the video also. Sail fast!

  • just over 95km/h

  • how fast is 51.36kts in Km/h?

    so its 82,66 km/h!!
