Can you run ordinary games such as Team Fortress2 on Linux? And are there any Linuxes that you can just download onto your harddrive so that I don't have to keep switching from Windows to Linux?

programs like wine allow you to use windows programs on linux.

yes but they suck for 3D accelleration because you aren't running windows natively. If you want to play games well and not at 10fps I would recommend dual booting

A truly brilliant example of how operating systems are starting to change for the better. I mean who doesn't love the idea of rotating a cube to see 4 desktops at once and changing the opacity and countless other features. To add a famous movie quote: "That's no moon its a spacestation.!" Weeeeeeeeeee! haha
