  • if you do a youtube search for "jitterbug footwork" this is what pops up.

    i was hoping to see some authentic detroit jitterbug clips from back in the day (1930s?) and compare it to modern "jit".. the same dance as its done today in detroit. i would recommend all swing dancers look up detroit jit and chicago juke clips on youtube (also new orleans secondline footwork, baltimore rocking out, and dc beat ya feet). some of those swing styles are still alive in the geto.
