I don't know where you're getting your facts from undertake. Even 17 of the largest nuclear explosions wouldn't come close to throwing enough debris into the atmosphere to block out the sun.

You can't apply such a specific number to a weapon with such wide ranging sizes. Most nukes these days are tactical weapons, only designed to destroy a military base or a city center.

I wonder about the origin of Israel's first cores. They had had a reactor complex, money, technical know-how and unchallenged willpower for enough time before the six-days war.
