Proud to say I played a modest part in defeating Mercer's Mischief!!

I had been going to watch Hibernian regularly since moving to Edinburgh in the 1970's - Stanton, O'Rourke, Brownlie etc. I was friendly with an Edinburgh singer & his brother who were Hibees to thie marrows (you know who they are?).

I bought shares.

Unfortunately couldn't go to the Final cos we were playing a concert in Newcastle that night, but I celebrated in Leith when I got back when Hibs won that League Cup.
