Sawyer is from Jasper, Alabama. But nice try Josh, way to know less about your character than your fans...

This interview is made way before we figured out that Sawyer was from Jasper, Alabama.

The letter he wrote to the real Sawyer is written in Knoxville, Tennesee which we will know in the first season.

Later on (third season) we will know that he is from Jasper, Alabama but moved on to Knoxville, Tennesee when his parents past away.

So at the moment of this intview Josh Holloway don't even know the Alabama-story, all he knows is that the letter Sawyer wrote was fron Knoxville.
