Actually, I think that's his way of saying to you, his parent, "I want to be fed!" reinforcing that message with the begging wings...in the wild they do follow their parents around for quite few months like that.
naw, he does it during every waking moment whether someone is in the room or not. that's why I posted it. I talked to the the girl at the store for a long time about this and another of the baby birds they had. I think it's pretty amazing that they can scream for hours on end and not get hoarse or tired... or stop at all except to eat and sleep!
hes screaming and puffing up cause hes scared and sees you and whoever else as a threat and is trying to scare you away cause he thinks you are going to hurt him - this is lord volcos from AS
