I suffer from a lit of breakage. I used this product this past weekend & no lie, I got instant results. This is going to definitely be one of my staples.
I have a question for you. I recently just texlaxed for the first time. There are parts of my hair that are still closer to my natural texture and I was wondering when I retouch, which won't be until the end of the year, is it ok to put the relaxer down the shaft of the parts that i want a little smoother? Is that overprocessing? Everywhere else will only get a root touchup. TIA!
That could be dangerous as the hair could possibly overlap and therefore overprocess and break off. I would suggest your next relaxer be a corrective relaxer done by a professional. Otherwise, serious damage could result.
Yes, that is pretty much the only ORS product I use. I don't use greases or pomades because they pretty much stifle growth. As far oil, I use extra virgin olive oil as well as S2S amazing hair oil or coconut oil to seal in moisture.
i wish my kids would relax and watch a movie, i guess i got a good 3 or 4 years until that will happen! my kids kinda hyper, they may never want to relax! i thought only boys were wild! great vid! i've been co washing, now that i know what it is! lol!
it has eggs, mayo, keratine, and other proteins listed in the ingredients. I would classify it as a medium protein treatment. It doesnt harden in your hair like the aphogee 2-step protien or the nexxuss emergency treatmeants.

Also, I have previously relaxed hair, can i start texlaxing it or do i have to chop off all the previously relaxed hair and start from scratch?
Chellz31 2 years ago
You can slowly clip the bone straight ends off or you can big chop....its your choice.

Considering how nice of a texture you have, how often do you texlax? And generally how long do you leave it in your hair?
Chellz31 2 years ago
I texlax 3-4 times a year. I only leave it in for 7 minutes.

when you texlax, do you add an oil to your relaxer or do you actually buy a texturizer?
