Best community in mmo's by far is the one from DDO. I loved WoW, but their security is horrible, either that or the hackers and scammers are just too smart now. I got hacked somehow the first time i played and i didn't even talk to anybody, i wouldn't pay for WoW, especially when they can close your account for being hacked. The game is now full of scammers and hackers, they pretty much rule the game now. Sure try it out, but i can guarantee within the first month you'l be hacked and you won't even know, until Blizzard give you a strike.

what makes me resub? community mostly, i think Totalbiscuit said it best that WoW without its community would really suck. sadly its the reason why im having second thoughts about taking the 1 year subscription; alot of my friends from the game are gone, moved on to MW3, SWTOR, LOL etc. So WoW is starting to look a little stale for me. I might be giving Tera Online a go when it goes live; its character generation model is more robust and its gameplay looks solid.

I am very nostalgic in WoW, so my opinion differs from others, but wow is far too casual meanwhile, but afterall I still play it..

I played the game from vanilla launch until cata launch, the game forced you to be casual with all the dumb weekly caps on things, it used to be fun, now it sucks. That is my opinion.
