I heard that they added the ending kissing scene only to the American version of the film, not the UK version. Something about it needing to be more "passionate" for those used to Hollywood flicks.  It's a good addition in my opionion. :)

@thegirlwhooncewas The book is really good, I agree... and I hate movies-based-upon-books because in most cases, the movies ruin the original stories. But I have to admit that this movie was really good. The characters were perfectly cast (especially Darcy, I'd never thought they would ever find a better Darcy than Colin Firth but Matthew McFadyen is brilliant)

@MizLiberty4ever101 there is absolutely nothing improper in that movie, there is a kiss at the end if you watch the american version, the european version doesn't even have that. it's based on a book published in 1813, so go figure. the book is amazing though, i'd recommend reading that as well.

This is a sweet scene, but the only thing that doesn't fit is the baby... She's adorable, but as a newbon, it wasn't believable... she could have worked if she was still swaddled... I don't know how it goes, but I don't think the hospital will allow the baby to be dressed in "regular" clothes until the baby is ready to go home

i loved it! the thing that i personally got out of seeing the movie was not to judge people too harshly when u first meet them...there r times when u totaly wrong about them!! some may think that b4 they met Mr. Darcy was a hard-hearted guy, & that she changed him...but i have always known that he was a very nice man deep down, even at first...but she just helped him to act upon it!

OMG thank you, I never would have found that kissing scene on my DVD weren't it for you putting it in this video. If I remember correctly, it's Fitzwilliam. I was in this play a few years back and fell in love with the story. It did a great job of keeping the characters real and full of faults like normal people, but at the same time, the fairy-tale affect clings to it.
