@samadriel I have dug out the Album and that track is not on it. The Record Album cover is truly appalling!! Worse than I remember. Looks like 1984 vintage. Big Hair, big make up, fake bondage, pouting, the works. There is a phrase on the back cover "The gods you worship are steel, at the altar of Rock and Roll you kneel"...(!) Wonder if Bad News got their ideas from Wasp or the other way round.

Well with the internet you have to be critical of what you see hear and read. This goes for all media as well. The stuff the actors play in the video were you see them play might be the basic skills but songwriting and arranging too? The only way to clear it up is to write to Brian Mays official site. It could be the more technical stuff is Brian and Ade the simpel as the songs are easy to play for the most part.

@Friedmett Around the time that Brian was producing the band he did an interview and said that the band spent so much time rehearsing that it became difficult for them to actually play badly on their cover of Bohemian Rhapsody.

A VOX AC30 guitar amp sounds different than a Marshall or any other. If Vim Fuego plays what on the album it would have taken some time which hardly happens in a world of actors. Brian's idea with comic strip otherwise you would not have to be somewhat right. Test of time shows the songs to last. It takes skills to do songs that does that. If Ade did play this or some he should have gone in a musical direction. His singing is rather good though.

Well I'm a longtime guitarist for one and it sounds more like Brian May and Queen with the way the drums sound and the guitar playing + sound. Bohemian Rapsody is mostly a fun/joke take on that sound and it takes certain skills to play it right and certain skills to play it like it sounds in Bad news. Also Drink til I die has some outside notes which is suposed to sound like bad playing/fun but it sounds planed out/rehearsed before hand.
