He had a can of Vienna Sausages and was trying to drain out the slime. Most of the time those things are packed so tightly that all you have to do is hold it upside down and the meat itself won't come out but apparently, this can wasn't packed as tight as they normally are.

@pensfaninstockholm Try to laugh once in a while, mate. It really doesn't hurt. Ask yourself, does it really matter whether a video is fake, or not? You'll often find that it doesn't. As long as you're entertained, it's all fine.

The funniest part is he always made it look so easy and any fisherman knows that all this crap happens all the time to every fisherman, so to see the pro that makes it look easy have the same issues that all us regular guys have, is all the funnier.
