I changed my ways of seemingly bashing providers, I used to back a few years ago, but I point out what apple's missing, USB should be on any device that has software.
iappstore combined with the jailbroken appstores dwarfs every other app store on the market, even android's and blackberries.
Still loving ubuntu, once I get into the programming stage, hell yeah, i'll be jumping another distro.
