However I did hit an issue, whenever I reboot my system, my raid'd drives start as "failed" and I have to "regenerate" them. Any work arounds for this? thanks
I followed your instructions to a T on my WinXP SP3 machine and I still have no RAID options available. I have two identical SATA 250 gb hard drives and I can't get the second to mirror...

I read somewhere that this trick is not possible with SP3.
