  • great job, awsome cover.

  • O.O W.O.W

  • This is really good!! This is the ONLY cover that i have enjoyed of this song. The singer really did a good job. A lot of people can't take that strain, and he took it like a champ.

  • great song and version

but this song ti's not original by the animals

the animals just have the best known version

  • The lead singer now performs solo in syracuse NY under the name 'just Joe'!

  • @SuperWildside Yes. I saw the new "Brand New Sin" last year at the Rock Shop in Fayetteville, NC for my birthday...expecting this lineup. I was extremely let down, and when I talked to the new guys, they didn't have much good things to say about Joe. Kinda pissed me off.

  • the best version ever are from the ANIMALS.

    EVER AND EVER =)

  • It's not all about the voice. The Animals' version is beatiful cause of their imagination. They have written this song and because of that they are forever alive with their song. There's nothing wrong in covers, everyone can interpret songs in different ways. However, the original version will be the most beatiful for me, always.

  • @Samik081 the animal's did not write that song, it is an old folk song.

  • @Pendrakulya

    Rly? :o My fault.

  • @Samik081 Animals didn't write it; they covered the song by Leadbelly. House of the Rising Sun is originally a folk song, though.

  • Una delle più belle versioni mai sentite.

riesce a raccontare pienamente - nella voce e nella musica - la disperazione di quel bambino che ha vissuto la casa del sole che ride

  • This is actually fappable.

  • It is a wonderful version...

  • Potente!

  • kru te jebo!

  • I do like there live performance of this song a bit better. And how often can you really say that about a band anymore

  • This voice is one of the best ive ever heard. no shit

  • Original is better !

  • Not originally by the Animals. These guys look like serious chumps

  • @guitarpop no they dont.

  • wow , all i can say is just WOW !

  • wow this version is awesome, u could take a look of Walls Of Jericho cover, i mean, i dont know if that cover is better than this, but i really liked that

  • fuckin awesome!

    thias autentic voice.... so powerfull!!!

  • By far the best version of this song. It's really a sin that isn't anywhere near the first page when you search for the song.

  • WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL ME SOME BIG SHOW!

  • This man was born to sing this song...

  • choac slam

  • best cover

  • The solo's are so fucking Face metling

  • fuckin awesome, met these guys when they supported soil in manchester

  • @greatestgod Hey me2!

i was There for soil but i did see them

    they were fucking Great!

  • wow looking at them I am afraid to say I don't like this version. So I will just say that I love it (please don't beat me up ;)

  • Antigas Ternuras, Linda !!!

  • it just gets better the more near the end it gets, awesome

  • That's aesome :D

  • great cover

  • I think that this guy's voice is better than in original version. stronger, firmer... don't ya think?

  • @Theotulion His voice is with BNS's style whereas th leadsinger from The Animals, his voice suited their style

  • The most successful version was recorded by the English rock group The Animals in 1964, not written by them. Fix your title. the authorship of "The House of the Rising Sun" is uncertain. Some musicologists say that it is based on the tradition of broadside ballads such as the Unfortunate Rake of the 18th century which were taken to America by early settlers.

  • Well, the title says "folk song", however this is a cover of The Animals' version. I don't see anything wrong here.

  • copypaste from wikipedia

  • hahahah...should I of cited it???

  • nah, it's not such a big deal, i just happened to read the same article as you did

  • @BrandNewSinTequila , your great , keep em straight bro.

  • @BrandNewSinTequila great version !

  • @BrandNewSinTequila somebody checked wikipedia

  • @neosin89 yes that is correct, whats your point?

  • @BrandNewSinTequila I didnt know new orleans was around yet in the 18th century, let alone be old enough to be taken to americans by early settlers. but okay...

  • Nice cover... Here's my favorite version i've found Ploy of oracle - House of the rising sun

  • Sucks that Joe peaced out...My sister is friends with him and apparently he wanted to do solo work...not sure if he left on happy terms or not though.

  • Joe wasn't "in" to it anymore.

  • Hailed by All Music Guide as an example of everything right about hard rock. B.N.S resembled a mesmerizing amalgam of sludgy, dirt-under-the-fingernails, calloused-skin rock and down home, southern style blues.

  • Love it! Great version.

Intro sounds a bit like the Beatles "She's so heavy"...what do ya think?

  • i cnt find it eathier its shit this song is so fuckin good

  • It's on the Brand New Sin's album Tequila.

  • i want to download this song but i can't find it anywhere

  • what damn good cover
