hey, how did you get the golden shovel

@9sidko9: You bury a regular shovel in the daily glowing spot and a golden sapling appears. If the sapling fully matures into a tree in a few days, you can shake the tree to get a golden shovel. If it doesn't survive or mature, you'll have to try again.

@felixthecathasrabies: To get the final upgrade to Nookington's, you have to have a character from another town (on another memory card) visit and shop at your Nook's store.

@Cadpigsan: No, the grass/snow doesn't wear away on GameCube. So you can run around as much as you want.

Man I love this game! And doesn't chopping the tree in your way unbalances your town? Haha! But what's with the balls that are spread around town? Like the soccer ball and stuff like that? I normally just knock the balls in the river... Yeah... xD

@LeanneFurryFriend1: It can make you lose perfect town status if an acre doesn't have enough trees, but I checked the wishing well afterwards and it was still perfect. The balls are around in case a villager asks you to find them a ball to play with.

i find it annoying to have to move the cursor everywhere its easier to point or touch the screen

@ChannelUltimate: Actually the Wii controls bothered me at first, since having the cursor on-screen nullifies button presses for some reason. I eventually got into the habit of always pointing off-screen, so the buttons would still work, but that was very annoying at first.

Brendonwii, remember that you need a Japanese GameCube or Wii to play e+, as well as knowledge of Japanese hiragana/katakana.

This reminds me - Today I went outside in a sundress, long socks, snow shoes, and a giant bow, and played around in the snow. I felt like a real-life animal crossing character. ^^ It was great. I love the vid, 5 stars as always! You're so lucky to have the GC version!
