I agree - this is a GREAT sounding guitar!! Since I can't afford the real thing I bought the EVH pickups. Can you tell me the height from pick up to string for the bridge pickup (in particular the back row nut part since it sits higher)?

With Floyd non-Lineced, It was dark Purple and Came From the Late 80's..An Acostic Guitar and something else, that was like, 2003..Anyway's My teacher Said If you Don't Get it I am. The Action was Very Nice, The Neck was unfinshed Maple.Overall sould Pluged Into a Marshall, I had a 900 it got Stolen,Has a Very nice Bright,Clean, Great Sounding Guitar(.BROWNSOUND!).

Does anybody know of the EVH Wolfgang "Special" and is it as good quality and palyability as this one?

I 've read the only difference is the the $3000, model is an archtop and the special is a flatop and is made in China or Japan i think?

Congrats, everyone that says it's way too much probably play les pauls. The EVH is much nicer. $3000.00 for a custom guitar is nothing. They're built with CNC equipment .

Much better than a les Paul that cost over 2000.00. Les pauls are over priced for 1950's technology.

I have played the new wolfgang and it is no comparison to the ernie ball musicman axis. Much better and half the price. Eddie just wants money now and this new guitar is not worth 3grand. I love eddie but money has taken over him. Stick to the musicman axis.

Well, I finally got my Fender-made EVH Wolfgang. I am really impressed with the quality of this guitar. Absolutely Flawless! I'm not quite sure about the tone, though. It sounds a little darker or beefier than his original tone. Don't get me wrong, this guitar guitar still sounds great. I just know Eddies tone and have been seeking it for decades. Anyway, I love the NEW EVH Wolfie and it is now my main axe on stage. Glad we could share something in common. Keep Jammin' and Rock will never die!

I run thru a 5150 III, straight! The set was gifted to me, a token of appreciation, therefore the trem issue is probably negligence. An adjustment, Im sure. Very cool! Thanks for the share! Peace. G

Funny how they didn't use F-spaced (Trembucker) pickups... just regular non-tremolo spaced ones. They must be really hot pickups to prevent the strings going in and out of the pole when bending.

Otherwise, an amazing-looking machine. I would much rather plunk down $3K on this than some tired Les Paul or Strat re-issue.

have had a 1992 evh ernie ball music man guitar since 1993 and have played the crap outta it! also have a 1999 peavey wolfgang and i like the body but am not a fan of the neck, i mean it's ok but takes some warming up to really get comfy on it where as the ernie ball feels great right away.
