  • I'm adopted... 14 year old girl. It's hard being around people who don't look like me... :(

  • Ok

  • Doesn't matter or not if a child is adopted, all that matters, is how the family treats him/her, and gives the child as much love as they want possibly. =) Which is a sweet thing to do, because no child, should be alone, in the streets watching their family argue, fight, and not taking care of him/her. Adoption, is pretty better than having your own baby/kid.

  • I want an asian girl. How much does it costs?

  • adoption doesn't really solve sex trafficking or gender discrimination. but I realize this was just a school project, just throwing out these opinion, something for people to chew on.

  • if anyone is going to adopt, at least they ought to be adopt to form a family, not to do a service for the world. Adoption is not a mere act of charity, it's not just some cause. It's very complex. If you want to help orphans in other countries, if that's your goal, then there are other ways that will help more children, and let them stay in their birth country. Adoption is for families, not just to save a poor Chinese girl.

  • We adopted two Korean girls 24 years ago. Both finished college and one a Dr.

    Children of promise.

  • Two people are minions of Satan.

  • she is very beautiful!

  • she is very beautiful!

  • I wouldn't mind adopting a little girl right now. I have 2 girls already, in a stable relationship ( 7 year anniversary last July), have my own business with a nice big house on a nice big property. We are not rich but make a good living. My problem lies in the thousands and thousands of dollars plus the months or even years it takes to go through the process. That's what keeps good loving parents away.

  • help them arm yourselfs teach them to be holy and not to over react this is sad news , my apple and i are in the same situation i feel love for her like no other and she is out of my control and afraid turning delinquent on me i just wants a abby

  • One girl's name is "Mei-Mei". (Pronounced "May-May" with tones I can't type here.) In Mandarin, that is what you call a younger sister, "Mei-Mei". That's what these little girls need to be.

A friend of mine adopted a little boy from China as the boy was born with a birth defect. It took him almost 3 years to go through the red tape, and spent tens of thousands of dollars. Someone is turning a profit somewhere, I think.

  • most result in sex traficking?... not true, you trafficker!

  • The Chinese government are trying to change the views on having a girl. People want boys to look after them when their older, but now, if you have a girl in China, you get a monthly payment for her.

Also, I'm not trying in any way what so ever to say its bad (since it’s a good thing, all kids should have a family), but wouldn't it be odd for the kid if she's Asian, and her parents are white like in those pics?

  • @omgbabiesatemydingo It isn't odd, it shows that you have a loving and compassionate heart, with no care as to what the baby looks like. She's a baby who needs a home, that's all that matters.

  • Brings tears to my eyes. God bless you!!!! <3

  • i like the last pix!!!! The mother with her adopted girl :) I was about to cry when i saw the last pix, so heartwarming..

  • nice video

  • Love to! Too bad it cost SO much! There are so many people who would love to, but the cost stops them.

  • My best friend is Chinese and she was adopted..... It's soooo sad. When she's sad, she sometimes says to me, u know... Why do u think my parents didn't want me. And I feel like I'm gonna cry! U don't know how lucky we are.. My friend probably doesn't even know what they were doin to her. Please adopt a Chinese baby.... Please!

  • This video has really moved my heart.

  • Yeah, but I heard you had to fit very strict qualifications by China to adopt one of their kids including being married.

  • @steffyb528 huge bull shit. research that up

  • @dreamera1 No, he's right- They don't accept "singles" and even now check you're "weight!" (ridiculous.) They have become more stringent. I just left an adoption site.

  • what a heart warming video im touched and moved im only 12 years old though

  • What song is this?

  • I can't understand how the parents would do that to there own child just because GIRL

  • Patrilineal kinship - traditional Chinese custom, the boys will take care of their parents in their older years, while the girl gets married and her obligation are to her husband and his parents.

  • when I grow up I will defentely addopt a chinise little Girl.

  • it's not a problem we can hope to solve from here in the west. china needs to radically change and stop being so corrupt to end the suffereng of innocent children.

  • you guys think that China will leave these girls on street and watch them die.

So why you adopt these girls from social welfare institution but not street.

  • Just Stop Fucking To Stop This

  • why is this like an advert? its a bit unfair..

  • chinese children do not need ur adopt

    we have not enough children

many western agency lie to their people as they buy the child and resell them

this is why many children been stolen in china, in hospital and road etc

  • well spoken.

  • Why not adopt a "waiting child" instead? There is a overwhelming number of families open to adopting a healthy baby, but what about the forgotten older and disabled children? EVERY child need a home :)

  • What about the Chinese government that's involved in baby trafficking?

Hey! But don't take *my* word for it. Read it on BBC World News: tinyurl (dot) com (slash) mv6wro

They idea is that when people can't pay the insane fine for having a 2nd or 3rd child, they take them away, forge the documents, and sell them off for adoption.

  • ... and another Jerk needs to stand up and be counted!

  • why am i a jerk im stating the truth. im not saying its a bad thing im just saying that if your going to adopt a kid you should at least look at american adoption as well.

  • Not going to further butt heads with the ignorant, but you obviously have done little research or no little of the difficulties adoptiong domestically and show an absolute arrogant bias in your comments. First of all, who the sam hey cares where one decides to adopt from or create their family unless your so pious or insist that the children within your borders must come first. All orphans, are part of a global community!! Oh... and what if your not american, is it ok then?? Peace Out

  • Thanx for confirming your a jerk, with a very low IQ. No need to respond further, your own words betray your desperation to be counted among the human race! Perhaps rehab and some serious electric shock therapy, but until then, the jury has rendered it's verdict "Dweeb!"

    Peace out!

  • well said! absolutely agree

  • American adoption... We have been fostering for almost two years now. There is not a need for ages 0-5 like they told us. Our house sits empty more often than full. I am not qualified and dont have the funds to support a child with feeding tubes and life-long support. American open adoption is $30K privately. Ukraine is $15K tops including travel. Where do you think we will adopt from?

  • Danielle, I think it's great about your A & U going to China. I've got an "oriental ornament" myself! That guy, he just doens't understand about what happens in China. I feel kind of sorry for him. He sounds pretty hurt and angry about something. We looked into adopting in America, but it's not as easy as people think. And at least the kids in America get the medical care they need, enough food, etc. Not so in other countries. I guess we can pray for the guy. Hearts can be changed.

  • Actually a professor and his wife that I know of adopted a daughter in China. The social workers rip off foreigners before letting them take the child home to US. They payed at least $10,000 claiming it to be mandatory donation but it was obvious bribe/corruption.

  • actually I adopted and the U.S. charged more fees than anyone in China did. I didn't pay $10,000 to any one person or establishment.

  • it would probably be more suited to you than a child anyway.

  • That is terrible. My aunt and uncle went to China and adopted 2 little girls. They are adorable and sweet. And I know one day they will be so appreciative for being given a life with them. They probably would have died otherwise. Jerk.

  • wow. i cant believe how much of a jerk you are. My aunt and uncle went to China to save young Chinese girls from being put out on the streets or killed. Girls in China aren't well thought of like boys. Boys are considered more valuable. And at least the kids in America are still American with freedoms. In China you don't even get freedom of religion. Christians are persecuted for their beliefs.

  • Please show me where in the Bible it says "Lindsey cannot tell people they are jerks. Even if on youtube someone is making racist comments and being quite frankly a jerk." I definitely haven't seen that verse. And no not trying to convert people to Christianity. Trying to give them a chance to live in a country where you have freedoms and you don't fear speaking your mind or telling your beliefs or having an opinion of your own. Once again, jerk.

  • Alright listen BITCH, I don't want to ruin my day by looking up shit in that retarded fairy tale called the bible.... This whole adoption thing is just a sham , christians taking advantage of gullible people using false premises , so as to fulfill their own mad fantasies.

  • Feel free to call me any names you please. Does it make you feel good to call someone that? You feel smart? Those words make you sound uneducated at best. Besides if your profile tells the truth, you're a 30 year old arguing with a 15 year old. By the way, I've read a few fairy tales. None of them have ever begun with "In the beginning.."

  • no point arguing with a 15 year old .... but try to understand that there is likely more to how things work than what you know .... maybe your uncle and aunt had good intentions for their adoption. That doesn't equate everyone who adopts does.... Also pls dont get me started on the bible!

  • Then don't argue with a 15 year old. I would just like to say I do have the right of freedom of speech too though. I know I understand nothing compared to my elders. However, I would appreciate you still listening to a reasonable point I made. Many good people adopt. My aunt and uncle are very good people. You made a stereotypical comment saying they wanted an "oriental ornament." And you don't have to speak of the Bible. You brought it up speaking that my beliefs are fairytale.

  • No arguing with a 14 yr old, so take it from an adult, your a jerk!

  • I honestly do not know. This was a project for one of my classes, but I got the idea from a former teacher at my high school. He has adopted 2 girls already and is looking to adopt more. You can try and look him up and I'm sure he wll give you information. His name is Steve Allen and he's from Spokane, Washington. He used to be a teacher at Mt. Spokane High School but now works ata church. I'm sure if you google him you can find him or e-mail the principle of the high school to get his e-mail.

  • My wife and I want to, but I heard it's expensive to do so. Any response to that?

  • i watched a programme recently, follwoing random american families who adopted baby chinese girls. one family it cost them $10,000... the other it cost then $20,000.... and then another family..it cost them an amazing $50,000... that's why so many people do it illegally heh
