Bear in mind that the maker of this phone Haier is for the most part a white goods maker. It shouldn't be expected to roll out something ahead of other mobile phone specialists.

I don't know about the quality of the phone but the design wise it strongly echoes Sony Erickson. They haven't found their unique looks yet it seems.
