  • Sculpting The Art Critic. link by youtube.com

  • WOW i cant even make a ball out of clay .-.

  • Why do people say this sorta stuff? do you know how hard it is to make a ball out of clay..or how to draw a straight line with a pencil? Making art is a process and experience. Don't not do it because you shoot for the impossible.

  • @JADYONE well bo hoo if u dont like seeing this dont even read them!! that simple -_-

  • haha great one! I saw more of this at hotartornot . com

  • Newspaper as base? I don't get it...why? Oh maybe because those papers have the art critic's articles. Oh well. I enjoyed watching this video!!!

  • Mani d'oro!!! ma che argilla usi?

  • Mani d'oro!!!

  • Excellent Work!!

  • wow..this video gave me an inspiration...

  • That was cool how he did the lips.

  • merci !

  • Because these sculptures are so realistic, it gives me the jeebies when he pushes the sculpting tool up into the eye sockets.

  • There is real person's head underneath the clay and he's just pushing the clay around the guy's features. Just a trick! ......Joking! That dude is amazing.

  • 4 people hate CLAYS.

  • waw it's encredible..

  • if I do something similar with a different type of clay is it going to crack?

  • @senorjorgegonzales Cracking will depend on your clay. I am assuming you are using water based clay which would need to be keep wet while you work it. (a garbage bag works well for storage) Each clay is a little different though, some shrink when they dry and others do not. It is also important to hollow your sculpture before you plan to fire it or it can almost be guaranteed to crack or explode.

  • my old ceramics teacher showed me that newspaper thing bout 5 years ago. i thought she was full of shit. if a masterful artist like this uses it. im in!

  • What kind of clay is that?

  • @fear432 philippefaraut [dot] com/faqs.html he tells you what kind of clay he uses ;-)

  • people who said they are gonna try sculpting

only 9% of them are telling the truth

  • @bestsisters1 lol you should see how much sculpting equiptment ive bought. im one of the 9% im just waiting for the actual clay to arrive then bingo. gonna be hard for a painter/digital artist but i think ill get there. with videos like this i mean. i mean my avatar painting here on youtube is pretty impressive, but THIS!? wow

  • can you tell me the name of the song?

    thanks

  • what a dream job..

  • The sculptor showed admirable restraint in modeling the "Art Critic" by not fully reproducing the usual full sneer of distain that is normally on display.

Extremely fine work and a wonderful variety of subjects. I'll be buying a copy of the book.

  • I just love how you made the lips..so quick and effortless just amazing

  • Great.. This is just AMAZING !

  • how did you learn to sculpt ? because i am just startig out with clay and what kind of clay is it ?

  • @enmantra You should go to amazon and look for "Sculpting Basics" by Hessenberg. the book is really good and it introduces you to several mediums and techniques for sculpting. Then, depending on what your going to sculpt get books on the subject, like if your going to sculpt portraits then get a book on portraits or if your going to do the human body then get one that deals with the whole figure and so on. Hope it helps!

  • @Juanbuendia8 thankyou very much ill go and have a look

  • Unbelievable. So expressive.

Merci PAM *********

  • At first it kinda looks cool... but then in the last few seconds your fingers just do this thing that makes it look awesome. You have a unique and intriguing style.

  • Hey what does the paint brush do?

    does it give it texture?

  • Amazing. Actually, I'm learning to sculpt cartoon models. But this is totally brilliant.

  • ouahouuu !

  • they are alive

  • hey everyone!

i just uploaded a video of an oil painting that took me 5 months to finish.

i would like to get some feedback on it. so if everyone that reads this could check it out and let me know what you think it would help me out! the video is called -- monumental oil painting- from start to finish. thanks everyone!

  • guyz i have one question what course i should study to do that kind of thing? statues 3d stuff?

  • woooow amaazing :O

  • I really enjoy wathcing your videos. I love the expression you gave the art critic. One question tho, is it just plain water you're using to make evrything smooth at the end?

  • This looks like its waaaay easier to do in clay than in wax. We used the same method in my sculpture class. I never could get the hang of hair though.

  • Boy, oh, boy, this man is talented

  • IMHO too realistic, too polished, too smooth too copies real world. There is no creativity and there is no individuality. I don't liked it.

  • Was it you who he was sculpting??

  • some amazing paintings of El bouhtouri

on elbouhtouri.skyrock. com check them out

  • estoy realmente impresionado, todo un maestro

  • U

    are

    AMAZING!

  • Absolutely amazing, he's able to inject so much character and personality into an otherwise lifeless figure. And he sculpts with confidence (he seems so certain and sure of every single gesture he makes)

  • Made with such strong, confident moves.

    Very talented.

  • Wow!! You inspire me SO MUCH!!
