you sing this with such deep compassion. You sing it as I cry and images of the pain and guilt of not being able to help my children. He controls forever. Only time I will be free of him is when I am in heaven. No longer controlled and no more painful agonizing haunting memories.

I think you need to work on your lyrics. They're not very good. Because of that, the song seems like a joke. Especially when you say "raped my soul" in the beggining. When you say "raped" it sounds mocking. It's nice that you tried though, and that you chose to wrote about abuse.

I think this is an absolutely beautiful song. I have never been abused, but it brought tears to my eyes. You have a very moving voice, even as a man you make this song mean something.

I loved that song a lot! It's beautiful and sad at the same time and it's very touching. Agree, this should be sung by a woman, but I liked your singing even so. Congrats!
