The Zeus Mini amp at 2:57 used to sell for about $100 back in 79 or 80. The music store I worked at carried them. Ive seen them go for like $500 now on ebay. Honestly, they dont sound all that great. My very 1st overdrive pedal was made by the same company (Zeus). I bought it for like $25 or $30. Ive seen them go for about $300 on ebay. With either the mini amp or the preamp i had, you wont get RR's sound. Youd need all his gear know his settings Tho you would get close with the mini amp
3:14 hands up if you watched that jet records logo go round and round while in a zombie meditational state being blown away by this new guitarist called randy rhoads
I thought Randy's Polka Dot V was in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame along with one his outfits from Quiet Riot. Is this one here all replicas of his guitars? Or are they the originals since they have been locked away.
Kirk doesnt have shit against Randy, he is one of the most influential guitarist and to this day we still look back to appreciate the two albums that define the word "Legacy", Randy was far ahead of Kirk and any guitarist during that time, his lost has made him a recognizable icon far more than Kirk
@iaintscaredho I'm a big Kirk fan, but I consider Randy to be a more technical and melodic guitarist, which adds up to me considering him in my opinion better than Kirk in particular. However, Kirk has marked some amazing milestones in rock music like for example his playing in the song "One" or the entire "...And Justice For All" album for that matter, without discrediting his earlier works with Metallica.
My first concert ever was July 4th , 1981, Oakland stadium, Day on the Green Ozzy w. Randy. Randy blew my mind. I've been a dedicated musician ever since, God bless you Randy, you are missed dearly. One of the best guitarist ever
Freakishly inspirational, and a great trip down memory lane. If one were to see this in the RnR Hall of Fame, they'd likely think "Hell yeah...in honor of a great guitar player". But...since it's in someone's home, for some reason it comes across as obsessive. I personally could care less.where I saw it. RR was the fist guitar player I spent an excessive amt of time copying licks note for note. So for me, this was f'ing awesome to see.
the todd dude probably doesnt know anyone who was even around randy , you are a very negative and jelly person evidently , if someone did their whole house like this about me"which no1 probably ever will" i might freak a little but i asure you i would be very flattered and thank god ppl loved me that much ,,, @ dude who put this up=HELL FREAKIN YEA , IGNORE THE BULLSHIT , they either have some other favorite gtar player or are just jelly ! This is so AMAZING!! Thank you so much for posting this video. The first time I've ever seen Randy play was at The Palladium in New York on The Blizzard of Oz Tour. Ozzy played 2 show's that night and my friend and I scalped for both show's.
This is Cool ! In the few interviews ive seen randys personality would have not dogged this out , he would have called it "his candy store" thanks man , the assholes that cut this down probably collect stamps or some shit.
uh.. ya, you're a lil creepy, but I wish you were my neighbor none-the-less. I couldn't afford ONE of those guitars (or amps) much less the collection you have. You said "one of the most incredible collections..." Bro, I've never seen ANYTHING like that. You have to have THE most incredible collections!
Some say they are jealous of you but I am proud of you, what a great tribute hope you take those guitars out and play them from time to time but if not just enjoy them for what they are God bless.
Incredible do you have any randy picks in your collection ?
For many years i had a towel randy was using to wipe his guitar down because of the awful heat in the dead of winter inside the Toledo sports arena in ohio during the diary of a madman show it was 11 days or so after Ozzy got bit on the tongue by the bat randy handed Ozzy his towel Ozzy wiped his face and threw the towel right into my face!
I hate you, yet I love you! This collection, the room itself, is beyond what I expected when I clicked on this video. . . . I've never been more loyal a fan of Randy's than I am right now, thank you!
