  • lmao the door sounds like a ship horn

  • Indeed, and that's what many people are commenting about. Also, they have fixed the problem, and now sounds usual.

  • Probably in late August because I start August 19th.

  • Okay, thanks.

  • Better just check that elevator off the list of ones I am riding in Austin.

  • Okay, so are you just visiting Austin or are you going to film some elevators in Austin?

  • @CaptainElevator42189 You know how it rained yesterday? I filmed the glass elevator at the Courtyard Suites by Marriott and I am also staying there. I will be in town the rest of the month filming.

  • Wow, that is amazing, and when will you start uploading the videos?

  • There's no color coding, but I use the rainbow colors as an easy preference.

  • What is the color coding?

  • There is no color coding.

  • Yes, but I do think color coding helps identify garage floors more easily.

  • Thanks.

  • Nice!

  • Yes, I like both Gen2 & 400A elevators, and I've never heard any other elevators make that noise.

  • my favorite MRL traction is the ThyssenKrupp synergy

  • Is that the first time you've heard an elevator make that ship horn noise? I've never heard it before. Sounds quite scary.

  • I would expect that door problem to happen on an Otis instead on a Schindler 400A, since Otis's are infamous for door problems. Also, nice and Eco-friendly elevator.

  • Yes, they should be better in terms of mechanical performance.

  • Schindlers have beautiful interiors; it's just the mechanics that suck, which is very unfortunate.

  • That's odd, because it doesn't do that when the door opens. It may be a door closing chime.

  • That was the door operation not sounding good, and it sounds like a loud ship's horn, but that door operator needs repair, if not replacement.

  • I thought it might be a nudge mode thing, because Schindlers go into nudge mode quite fast, but you're sure it was a door operator problem?

  • WOAH what was that loud noise
