Uhm, wax > hot glue, but wax < hot glue, sticky dots, spray paint, twenty extra minutes of screwing around. Nice try, tho.

this is more time consuming than doing the real sealing-wax. it looks good but I like more the original with real wax.. Tadaaaaa...

I've no idea where you look for sealing-wax, but I've always found genuine sealing-wax to actually be pretty cheap. How much do you have to pay for wax vs. glue?

@Shangas I no longer buy sealing wax. However, I just saw some on sale for $8 dollars, and my hot glue is about $2 dollars for a pack.

You're right, if you don't use enough glue, you don't get the nice edge around the design.

No time yet. I don't have any wax seals to try it with but have tons of stampers I haven't used for ages. Next time I can pull out my box, I'm gonna try this.
