  • 9:15 -to the point.

  • 4:15 Sounds almost as if he was suggesting that shareholders aren't people. I found that funny. :)

Overall I agree with this man, even though he exaggerates slightly at times.

  • The citizen's united ruling does not declare that corporations are people, in the sense that they can vote, bear arms, etc. it just says that they are people in the sense that congress, can not exclude a coorperation from doing so, clearly he has disregarded the natural law, that governs a cooperation differently than a person, they are just equal in the eyes of the law.

  • The constitution doesn't exist becuse the people were not a party to it!!!!

  • @offthahook08 They fought for the Repulic not for democracy!!!!

  • #Gov creates #corporations & thr4 has created the problem Sanders bemoans. #Govt can STOP making these "legal" entities granted "privileges" of real persons.

  • Bernie Sanders seems rationalistic. I hope he teams with Scott Keller unofficially.

  • This guy speaks the truth!

  • @d3ejmz who is the guy you're talking about? I can't get the link to work :-(

  • Brasil! Que bagaçeira e essa. Coloquem umas legendas em portugues porfavor! ZEITGEIST E PROJETO VENUS!

  • Better solution: remove all governments and politicians of the world and all borders. We are ONE humanity and we CAN rule without them, using internet tools like upworldgov org or earthpeopleorg org. ReLOVEution! :-)

  • @yesbrth after the cull, we will do most of that. There is really no need for "ruling", except over one's own counterproductive urges.

  • Great start Bernie, now all you need is to correct one little thing, okay not so little, we were created as a Republic (protects the rights of the 49% as well as the rights of the 51%) not democracy (mob rule)!

  • @1776blues We have never been a Republic. That has been a farce from the start. The "mob" electing someone to represent them so they can then go and be part of another "mob" in Congress bought off by the Senate is not a system for freedom. The 49% are not who is being protected. The 1% who actually rule this country in a plutocracy disguised as a republic.

  • why not just rescind the 14th amendment, that originally made corporations into legal persons? There were a gaggle of other problems with that amendment to begin with.

  • @d3ejmz But people need to volunteer to be US slaves and the 14th amendment gives us that opportunity. : )

  • @triathlete007 Right you are, right you are. Can't forget to maintain the ignorance option for the cattle... what was I thinking?

  • @d3ejmz

    watch?v=812qsAVmEy0

  • @triathlete007 oh yeah? watch?v=gILQuRsYJ3I&feature=results_main&playnext=1&list=PLED4EAEEBF83AD4DC

this is the guy who helped me to fill in my blanks. I've already got 1000 dollars worth of civil citations dismissed using the principles he articulates. He's come a long way even since the making of these videos. He doesn't do videos anymore because he is more inclined to let people find him. "Truth has its own sense of timing" - quote from the first video.

  • American democracy, lol, gtfo

  • I pray he gets on the ticket for President...... Congress has no right and they are thieves....

  • Interesting? He must be talking about the 14th Amendment. It secured personhood to corporations, those whose think they're "negro, black or colored (nbc)" and now days everyone whose name appears in all capital letters on driver's license, birth cert., etc (thats just about everybody) If the all "caps" and the supposed "N. B. C." people don't comprehend their rights before the 14th amendment or how to activate them its a rap. This may be much bigger than it appears.

  • Black's law dictionary states clearly that an artificial person is a corporation. The senator from Vermont is a an artificial person, recognized by the name of BERNIE SANDERS. The man using the name of BERNIE SANDERS cannot be heard in in the public without the name, just as an individual cannot play Monopoly without a game piece. The courts prefer to speak with its property, (the corporate person you use) rather than the man using it. All men are equal. Corporations are fictions.

  • How did a recent decision do anything wrong?...lol Recent means it's been going on for Decades! You really think corporation of Newspapers didn't endorse Linclon, Washington, or Franklin?...lol

Bernie, you might want to look at History.

  • @papavalium Corporations did not control newspapers at the time of Abe Lincoln, they were still a local phenomenon, and opinions differed greatly from town to town, ideology to ideology. It was a long time before the Hearsts of the world. Lincoln distrusted corporations immensely. At the time of Lincoln, 1 out of 8 Americans was a capitalist or a laborer, the rest were independent farmers and local cottage industry artisans.

  • @Mangina9000 "Many European nations chartered corporations to lead colonial ventures, such as the Dutch East India Company or the Hudson's Bay Company, and these corporations came to play a large part in the history of corporate colonialism."

"The alleged oldest commercial corporation in the world, the Stora Kopparberg mining community in Falun, Sweden, obtained a charter from King Magnus Eriksson in 1347"

  • Does Bernie realize Obama would of never been Elected? Does he also know that the money from the Corps will then be transferred to the 100-200 dollar donor stuff like Obama did?

Mickey Mouse donated to Obama, that's troubling.

  • @papavalium WOAH THAT IS SO TROUBLING. Stormfront donated to Ron Paul. That's kind of troubling too.

  • @Mangina9000 A documentary filmmaker donated money to the politicians under the guise of pedophiles and anarchists just to see if they would cash the checks, when they did he denounced them for it. Politicians will take money from ANYONE, it matters not the organization nor the person, they (the politicians) need that money to run a proper campaign. I wouldn't fault Dr. Paul for accepting money from an organization that he doesn't side with, just because they gave it to him.

  • Amen.

  • They gave those corps more than human rights, they were given the immunity that only applies to foreign dictators and gods for murders! This is not only a violation of constitutional rights but it's also a slap in GOD'S face!

  • Sanders is a Patriot.

  • Persons have spirits, CORPORATIONS ARE EMPTY AND EVIL, THEY EAT SPIRIT AND CREATE EMPTY EVIL MONSTERS. Corporations and greed are 100% responsible for EVERY PROBLEM WE FACE ON EARTH! WAKE UP PEOPLE! We share this, no one OWNS anything, we got a choice to make, keep this shit up and die or GROW THE FRACK UP AND LEAD THE WORLD INTO SOMETHING NEW AND AMAZING! Free will people.

  • Great idea ... IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! To propose an amendment it will take 2/3 majority vote by both houses THEN it will take 3/4 of the states to ratify it. Over 90% of Congressmen became congressmen solely because of Corporate money and to stay in power, they can only do so with the same corporate money. Do you really think that the majority of congressman or a fraction of them for that matter, will vote for their own demise? It will never change until the system is abolished.

  • @mark97213 right, so we don;t relect the bastards. vote in new blood until we have a government that represents the 99%. money out of politics.

  • @coeruleo That is exactly what Tim Cox of "GOOOH" has proposed to do and I truly believe him and his plan to clean house and replace the entire Congress with community elected representitives severing ties with special interest groups and Big Buisiness, Big Pharma and so on. We have to rebuild and establish a government that is free and clear with true representation by the people for the people. People like Elizibeth Warren, Berrnie Sanders and Ron Paul speak the truth.

  • And Begich is supporting...we don't hear so much of him over here....

  • Influence on government

The pharmaceutical industry has the largest lobby in Washington, DC — there are more pharmaceutical lobbyists there than members of Congress — and it gives copiously to political campaigns.

Search this: Excess in the pharmaceutical industry

  • So as a person i am limited to $2300 in political contributions to a candidate, but a corporations is a person and can donate without limits? Orwell was right in "Animal Farm" some are more equal than others...

  • At long last, some senators are awakening to the criminality that is their government. Is it any surprise when an illegal alien is made president by a secret cabal, that he appoints Supreme Court judges supporting his criminal agenda, that those justices overturn democratic principles for his future re-election? No judge with integrity would have made such a decision.

In the same breath those justices would argue that a steel bollard has the same voting rights as a human being.

  • The Answer here is do not vote for those that spend the most money.

    Just a thought

  • Damn. Bernie there has giant brass balls indeed. Bernie seems to have read a few books of law the private BAR Association has written as "Procedure" for their private societal "courts". By the way..."Corporations" were always "Persons" legally (but not lawfully) defined, even prior to "Honest" Abe Lincoln (also a BAR Associate hack). Then again...he seems to have forgotten to mention the United States corporation, District of Columbia, and her traded/bonded agents. Weird.

  • lmao give me a link to a story about a poll where people supported TARP 2008/2009 And I will. But it didn't happen. No one wanted to bail out the banks due to their lack of restraint and questionable trading. well im sure wall street wanted it.but main street didn't. If you recall thats when Ron paul supporters started the tea party. but then again not many people remember that. They all think it was the Kock bros...

  • The United States of America is not a democracy it’s a republic!! Maybe someone should read the constitution before they try to change it!!!

  • With this amendment being co-sponsored by Sen. Begich of Alaska - WHOA. He is a lier and un-indicted criminal from being the Mayor Anchorage. He was involved in the Anchorage Neighbor Housing in Anchorage that was replete with criminal actions that I and others never could get prosecuted. So what is the game here? Open up the several States to an Amendment and then add something else? Beware of Mark Begich from someone that hounded him for years at the open meetings in Anchorage.

  • Our Supreme Court has sold us out. :(

  • Finally someone in the Senate and House both speak some great sense !!!

  • I should just walk up to that weird Person called Goldman Sachs and kick him in the balls.

  • If Mitt says a corporation is a F*****G person, a corporation is a F*****g person.

  • c) NON-ESSENTIAL Public Sector Jobs...

Remind me why we have these again? ...oh yeah, a bunch of greedy liberals didn't like being paid fairly, so they extorted the taxpayer for more than their worth.

  • The only way to get money out of politics is to stop the spending...

    a) Corporate Spending, the money government gives through contract, bailouts, subsidies etc..etc.

    b) UNIONS... Get rid of them, they're just as bad as the corporations at creating an unfair economic climate for the non-unionised, they even destroy their own industries by demanding pay that their labour simply isn't worth on the free market.

  • Sanders advocating a Free Market... I never thought I'd see the day!

Get the money out of politics! Fuck yeah, free market capitalism!

  • The Declaration of Independence in the beginning makes it clear who are the ones with rights and it isn't corporations.

    "all men are created equal"

"endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights""

The Creator (God) didn't create corporations but MAN! So corporations can't have rights. They're property as a home or car. Homes and cars don't have rights and neither do corporations.

  • the constitution doesn't and didn't need any amendments. even if you believe in this law you have to realize by now the constitution is mostly ignored by anyone besides Ron Paul. Sanders is a self-described socialist and is inherently anti-american. that said i am glad he is a part of the government giving his honest perspective. he is one of the few honest people in washington.

  • @countupir

So a socialist is, by definition, anti-American...??

  • @leeroynaggins a socialist would be against having a document which sole purpose is to put restrictions on the government. america's founding document is all about limited government. how can a socialist have social programs and other central planning with a document like the one at the heart of america?

  • This gives me a lot of hope. America can be the leader of democracy and good in the world, if only it doesn't let itself be made stupid and corrupted, like what happened during the Bush administration. Americans like this man give me hope for America and the world. All the best from the Netherlands, America.

  • Thank you Mr. Saunders for making a vocal stand.

  • We need more like him!

  • Amen Bernie, don't give up the fight we are all behind you.

  • looks like the tide might be turning.

  • The New England States do produce some wonderful "Progressive" politicians. Senator Bernie Sanders & Elizabeth Warren .. Elliot Spitzer ect. Some of the last few Americans in this world I have the highest respect for. The only politicians I WOULD EVER TRUST ,, period. the ONLY thing the Mega-Banks, Wallstreet, the Mega-Pharms, the Mega-Health Care Corps fear are the likes of these 3 true Americans who CAN'T BE BOUGHT and have no price tags for their American souls.

  • Make corporations "special citizens", allow them freedom of speech and the ability to spend as much as they want. BUT, don't allow them to spend money on anything that doesn't pertain to it's business, and don't allow political spending at all.

  • another JEW sitting in a seat of power ruling over white people. Bernie be a little clearer and explain to the GOY that it is YOUR PEOPLE the JEWS that RUN the BANKS, the MEDIA, Hollywood, Education, the Courts. WHITE PEOPLE please wake up to these JEWS. They only have ONE GOAL to USE AMERICA to SERVE ISRAEL..

  • @cessna65423 It's not really the "JEWS" it's the Zionist's that hide behind the Jews.

  • @leperrine Yea this is another problem to make us feel guilty or confused, "oh they are the good Jews not the evil Zionist. Is it JUST POSSIBLE some Jews PRETEND to be Non Zionist? In warfare there are people that are SPIES and that try and BLEND IN. I am sure Bernie will always have the Israeli nations interest first and foremost. As i asked another person, Where are the WHITE MEN in congress shouting this message? Why must it always be A JEW to LEAD US? i DO NOT trust them

  • @cessna65423 What is your problem? You're not only blatantly anti-Semitic, but racist and sexist too. Is that what you think America is about? White men? I'm a white, male American, and I am deeply offended by your statements.

  • @drkaj1 Sir I am NOT anti Semite i am Anti Cainite the son's of Cain Who's LITERAL father is for better Terms Satan. The Jews that not only rule us but control this world ARE those decendants of Satan. Jacob/Israel had 12 sons Judah had children with a Caaniinte woman who was a decendant of Cain. Gen 38 READ.One son lived and spawned these 1/2cannite 1/2 israelite people. These are the ones that HATED and Killed Christ. John 8:37 Only ONE people have removed Jesus from our schools JEWS

  • @cessna65423 You are one sad and sick puppy Mr. Cessna, and you seem not to have a clue about who Jesus is or what he is like. Oh, and by the way, your use of punctuation is hopeless, but if you would learn to spell better, you might not appear quite so ignorant. It's "the sons of Cain whose literal father is" and "Canaanite." But, then again, never mind. In your case, it's probably hopeless.

  • @drkaj1 You said you are a white male so i reached out to you because you are maybe my racial kin and fellow Israelite though you have some black guy on your home page, so i don't know if you are black or white. I do not take it personal because i know you are ignorant as i was and as 99 percent of Lost Israelites are. Forget me, answer why JEWS Murdered Jesus? Even today No culture hates jesus but JEWS. WHY? Yet dumb white Judeos LOVE ISRAEL (tares) Most people REJECT TRUTH when told it

  • @drkaj1 Thanks for your help in Grammar. I know my grammar is hopeless. But Read 1 Cor 26-27 God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. God doesn't speak through Harard Divinity Grads with PH.d. Moses has the same problem with his speech impediment. Anyway i do hope you take the time to seek for yourself some good studies on WHO the Jews really are? In book of John he says a few times "people FEARED the JEWS" WHY?. the lie is people believe Jesus was a Jew

  • @cessna65423 hello? are you both anti-semitic AND sexist?? I'm white, but not jewish and not male, and i am DEEPLY offended by your suggestion that Jews should not lead. Not ALL the greedy bastards are jewish, do you know that? yes, there are many in elite positions, they are smart men. But more than half the elite are non-jews, who by the way are referred to as gentiles. I don't believe you belong to either group. you're simply scum from where i'm standing.

  • @cammilionme Let's say that half the elite are Jewish, as you say. Actually, I'll do you one better. Let's say that only 30% are. The problem is the disproportionate concentration of them. They represent such a small fraction of the total world population. Yet they congregate to positions of power. Far more than their numbers would otherwise suggest.

  • @cammilionme As i mentioned to another poster i am NOT ANTI SEMETIC. i am ANTI CANNINITE. Jews are NOT SEMETIC. They are sons of Cain who was the Literal Son of the Serpent. Read Gen 38 Judah had a 3 sons with a canninite woman two died one lived. His offspring were the ones that hated Jesus. Read John 8:33-59. Read John 7:13 19:38 20:19. Read about Jewish Spies in AMERICA. Are you happy Jewess' Cagan and Ginsburg make laws that affect you. YES tragically whites SUPPORT Jews

  • @cessna65423 well you may be right, but listen to the message, forget about the messenger ;)

  • @blinddaterix I agree with the message being said but notice he throws in the part about working with Chuck Shumer and Dick Derban. The classic Jew move is always to appear like they are righteous to gain your trust and then they betray you to Israel. Think of the movie industry. At the start Jews made wholesome family movies and Tv programs that were great but slowly they introduced the anti family left wing shows and immoral shows that slowly warp our culture.

  • @blinddaterix Where are the WHITE MEN shouting this message?? Why does it have to come from the MOUTH of a JEW. I am sure this jew has voted or proposed many things that are not beneficial to the white people of America.

  • So what is this amendment he is proposing? He wants to repeal the 1st amendment?

It's legal for an individual to speak freely about politics, or in support of a candidate, even on TV. But he wants it to be illegal for a group of people to engage in free speech?

  • Citizens United? That thing was birthed directly from the think tank of ALEC and all it's vile members! Those bastards have been orchestrating the demise of America and it's working class since 1973! The fact people buy into their drivel is flat out pathetic!

People are hurting and looking for jobs, yet these elite bastards are out there spending millions of greenbacks on propaganda that unemployed unfortunately buy into? Why aren't they creating jobs with their tax cuts for the rich? SMFH

  • the government, and every agency and administration affiliated with it is a corporation. if bernie gave a fuck about you, he would tell you this. if you would like, you can call his office, the number is 1-800-idontgiveafuckaboutyou

  • TL;DR

Lol just kidding, this guy is fucking AWESOME

  • Two months later ((BLAM)) assassinated by corporate paid Illuminati affiliated mercenaries......lol....jk...fuck i hope this goes through

  • he is right A Corporation Is Not A Person, being part of one and shareholder, you can not or should not use our combined profits By a CEO and or board to use OUR PROFITS in anyone's political favor, we have inverse laws, everyone else knows it,

  • It appears there still remains politicians in the Senate who represent their constituency and work for the people rather than for their sponsors. Can we have more? Did the senators listening agree, or see this as an incentive to silence him and others on the same vein of speaking?

  • Be fair, now, Bernie...don't merely infer that the corporations got Tea Party candidates elected...the DNC and Obama are loving this, as well, while claiming to support the '99%'.

George Soros has dumped millions to buy Dem canidates who will vote his Globalist bullshit into law. BTW...I am an Independent VT-er, too!

  • @makwabid69 Soros is but one person, he can't buy candidates like the numerous corporations and their industry lobbyists can. Soros can't even come close to matching those corporate dollars.

  • Bernie Sanders is saying once again what Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr., Robert F. Kennedy have all said. They predicted this would happen and this will be the downfall of our country if this Constitutional Amendment does not overturn the Supreme Court decision.

  • This Amendment must pass. This is no joke. We have to petition and call everyday multiple times to make sure they know everyone supports this.

  • I wish my senator was like Bernie Sanders... oh wait, he was but because of Citizens United, Russ Feingold was ousted from his seat by corporate stooge and tea-bagger, Ron Johnson.

  • Sanders is a fucking boss.

  • I love Bernie! I wish this country had more elected citizens like him.

  • Incredible! This guy knows what he's doing. I've never been filled with more hope for the US.

  • @JohnAdamZiolkowski At the same time I've never been filled with more despair as how many people will act on this bill...

  • @JohnAdamZiolkowski He is only one person in a room of rats.

  • BRAVO!!!!!

  • This constitutional amendment actually makes perfect sense.

  • Corporations don't spend money. People spend money.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham the difference between a corporation and a person is the same the differense between a person and a mob . A Person is held responsible for their actions they will show compassion. mob does not. this is the problem we are having with corporations. Corporations are not held accountable for their actions. They point to a few people who then claim ignorance or incompetence. And the corporations figures out another way to break the rules for one goal. More money.

  • @JRMCNEA Are you against unions spending money on political campaigns too or just logically inconsistant?

A corporation is just legal fiction. It's words on sheet of paper. What is a corporation? The building? The CEO? The guy that cleans the bathrooms at night? The land the building sits on? Hold who or what accountable?

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Yes. I am against any clique spending large sums of money to alter the course of our government. We the people have gotten too comfortable with others doing the work for us. A corporation IS in fact a made up "fictional" character. And the issue is we are allowing fictional characters have a large impact on our political system. Corporations are made up of people who have their own voices and their own votes. They should not be allowed to buy an extra one.

  • @JRMCNEA Are you against politicians using tax payer dollars to buy votes? I can't think of any institution that spends larger sums of money than the U.S. government.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham The people who should be held accountable are the people in charge. It wasn't me is not a valid excuse when you are the CEO of an organization. the CEO of a company who is responsible for breaking the law should go to jail along with the person who did the deed. Thats what they get paid for. To be responsible for what goes on in the company. If the share holders feel the company isn't making enough money they fire the CEO. Should be the same with legal matters.

  • @JRMCNEA You would then have to repeal the laws that limit legal liability for companies that become incorporated. It's called deregulation. I'm all for repealing large portions of the over 1,000,000 pages of federal code.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Our government used to treat corporations as external entities. They treated them like what they are. Foreign entities that are only looking to make profits. For corporations to do business in the U.S. They had to 1: prove their value to the citizenry. Aside from "we sell awesome things they want to buy". And 2: they had to contribute to social programs a percentage of their profits. neither of these is true anymore. We need to go back to this.

  • @JRMCNEA Corporations don't pay taxes. It's legal fiction. It's like thinking you can tax cows and the tax will be paid by the cows. Taxes are ultimately paid by share holders, employees and the end consumer in the form of higher prices.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham True,. But do you honestly think we would be paying less if there where no taxes for corporations? Wal-Mart buys products from China for pennies. Bring them to America in such a massive quantity their frat cost is almost nil. And pay their American workers peanuts. Yet their prices are still too high for the quality of the products they sell. This is the profit Model across the board. If you where to sell your products for an honest price you'd lose your shirt.

  • @JRMCNEA

Corporations already don't pay taxes. Lowing their tax rates to just below the lowest level in the world, and closing loopholes, would LITERALLY yield more money.

Having the highest tax rate in the world only punishes honesty, and promotes the sort of deceitful bullshit we've seen.

  • @JRMCNEA "Yet their prices are still too high for the quality of the products they sell."

Obviously millions of people don't agree with you or the company would go out of business. Nobody would shop there if they thought they were being over charged. WalMart has a profit margin of 3.77%. You can look this up on yahoo finaince.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham You think hundreds of millions of American shop at Wal-Mart because Wal-Mart has the best products for the lowest prices? or because they have been told that. Companies don't go out of business because their products suck anymore they linger due to credit and the ability to wait out the better products who can't afford the publicity. hundreds of millions of people are over weight. Does that mean skinny is out? Pier pressure drive our markets more then anything.

  • @JRMCNEA If people don't value an item at a store more than they value the money it costs to buy the item then they won't trade to buy the item. Wal Mart sells a lot of generic stuff it's not all name brand items. "Hell majority of the people don't pay attention to what items cost at the register."

This is just stupid. Why do you think people go shopping on black Friday? Because they don't care about prices?

  • @MrGreeneggsnham why do people act as if when it comes to necessities people shop around. When it comes to Gas people go to the nearest gas station. when it comes to food people go the the nearest store that has everything they are looking for. If Someone dislikes Wal-Mart and they need some work boots and a jacket and there are no other clothing store near by that they can afford to go to they go to Wal-Mart.They don't go online and find the better products for the best price.

  • @JRMCNEA People do shop around for gas. There are entire websites devoted to it. You don't shop around around for gas and just assume that everyone else doesn't either.

Some people don't like shopping online, so they don't shop online.

It's a good thing Wal Mart was there to sell those work boots or they would of had to pay a higher price at a different store.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Our market place hasn't been run by "vote with your money" since the Advertisement age. for every educated shopper who is voting with their pocketbooks you have 10,000 ignorant ones. The best product loses to the loudest product. The Best and efficient technology loses to the oldest and connected technology. People need to let go of that old wife's tale that the better product will win out eventually. the worst one will drag us to hell first. the proof is history

  • @JRMCNEA What the hell is the "advertisement age"? You think advertising is something new? lol

  • @MrGreeneggsnham The Advertisement age is when it became possible for Companies to lie or rather not be 100% true in their claims. If you where going to be so bold as to claim your product was the best you had to prove it. And misleading content was frowned upon. but today if you say something load enough and long enough it is accepted as truth. Advertisements aren't new. But the way they are presented is. T mobile Vs At&T? its the same company. And phone service sucks for both.

  • @JRMCNEA The "best product" is subjective not objective. All you liberals think value is objective. You think you can take your own values and just project them onto everybody alse. Then you think evveryone alse is stupid for not assinging the same value to every product in the world that you do.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham No the best product is objective. You conservitives have been tricked into thinking that a shiny rock is better then the medicine you need for your illness. And here is an example of how value is objective. Fresh raw milk is better then Hormone riddled bleach laced boiled down milk. Fresh Beef from a healthy cow is better then a food colored piece of rancid Beef. Insurance that covers your health costs is better then a money hole that will leave you to die.

  • @JRMCNEA If you are lactose intolerent you can't drink either, they can both kill you. Value is subjective. The "best product" is subjective.

What the fuck kind of cell phone doesn't make calls? and if you're "against monopolies" then you should be against government provided services because most all of them are monopolies. Monopolies don't exist in a free market.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Actually there are some cases where people thought they where lactose intolerant and they drank raw milk and didn't have the adverse effect of Gas(it will kill you? lol) AT&T T Mobile chose your random Cell phone service. Im against monopolies that aren't accountable to anyone buy shareholders who don't care the practices of their companies other then the amount of money they make. And government monopolies where limited to not for profit.

  • @JRMCNEA So you think profit is bad? Is it better to operate a business at a loss? These are your choices, profit or loss.

Government employees do profit. They don't work for free.

It's illegal for business' to deliver first class mail. The USPS is a government created monopoly and they are losing money hand over fist at this point. I think the country can get buy without the government subsidizing junk mail.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham I think that profiteering and taking advantage of people's plight is bad. I think that you should be able to charge what ever you want for cloths and consumer goods I will even go so far and say even food. So long as We can produce and grow our own. But for things Necessary for life there should be a restriction on how much profit you make. Humanity should win over profit. And it should not be left to money hungry profiteers.

  • @JRMCNEA Profit margins are high typically if there is a shortage of the thing being produced. It's a signal for investors to invest more in a perticular area. Say for example that profit margins are high on corn it means there needs to be more farms or people should find ways to make the existing ones more productive.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Profit margins also go up due to manipulation of supply lack of competition and speculation. And these today are more likely to be the reason for it.. And investors will invest if the profit margin is high no matter the cause. because the higher the margin the larger their payout. So they have no vested interest in honest marketing. And your example of corn is a good one. The government pays farmers not to grow to keep the cost artificially high.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham I think we agree on the problems. But our solutions are different. My issue is when people claim that government is the problem I agree. But the people we are supposed to trust to produce are lobbying our government to bend the rules in their favor to the detriment of their potential competitors. Every industry in the world can be broken down to a hand full of producers. And this is the main issue I see that causes inflated growth and Stagnant advancements..

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Government employees DO NOT profit. They in fact take a lose. they trade labor for less then that labor is worth. Because they can survive with that lose. This is what labor is but we let bankers tell us. Labor is worthless and anything our employers "give" us is income when it is not with their definition. But tell a lie long enough and loud enough and people will start to believe it's true, Labor is treated as communism while profit is treated like Fascism.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Government subsidies are mostly to the benefit of corporations. not the people. But a government subsidy on mail is more of a service then a subsidy. Since we are all paying into the government for them to have this money. But people like to mince things to their advantage. The USPS is losing money because their costs are restricted and they are being forced to compete with a private business without any. This is why they had a monopoly. It can't work this way.

  • @JRMCNEA I'm against all subsidies.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Im against blanket stupid subsidies. i am all for helping people who need the help. But to tell someone I am just giving out x amount of money to the first people who come to me saying they are going to do this is stupid. there is no accountability after the checks have been cashed. Unless your on welfare that is. You write a company a check for 500 million and a few months later they go bankrupt? someone didn't do their homework.

  • @JRMCNEA Subsidies are basically taking money from tax payers and giving to people who are politically connected. All subsadies are stupid and immoral.

  • @JRMCNEA Why should the government do its homework? If they lose 500 million they don't even care. It's not their money. They can lose a trillion dollars and there is no personal loss for the people making the investment decisions.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Because the government is suppose to work for us and carry out our interests. And if you don't see this as being the case you ed to start voting for people who do. You guys complain about how government is inefficient and over bearing. But when it comes to you doing your homework and actually electing someone who will do their job and ONLY their job you people stick to the politicians who raise millions from industries and PACs.

  • @JRMCNEA The government doesn't work for you. You work for the government, On average government employees make more than their private sector counterparts. They call themselves public servants. If the government employees make more than the tax payers who pay their salaries who's the servant?

I don't vote. It's a complete waste of time. Your vote doesn't matter unless it's a tie. If it's a tie you get to pick the winner, but it's never tie. Everyone else picks the winner for you.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham The governemtn in fact does work for the people. But when you have an ignorant and spineless boss the workers run over them. Secondly I beg to differ on your statement that public sector workers make more then private sector workers do. as a whole majority of public sector workers make alot less then private sector workers. But with a public sector job you have job security. You won't walk in one day and they tell you your let go. You see it coming a mile away.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham That "Public sector workers makes more" is propaganda garbage that republicans push so that they can cut public programs and give more tax cuts to the rich. And im not against tax cut. I'm against discriminatory tax cuts. The rich have their taxes cut twice as many times as the bottom 70% And they have 1000times more loopholes they can take advantage of.

  • @JRMCNEA If you're in the bottom 40-50% you don't even have to pay federal income taxes. You can't lower their taxes. They don't pay income taxes.

"Federal pay ahead of private industry" -USA Today

  • @MrGreeneggsnham If your in the bottom 50% you can't afford to buy food or pay for a roof over your head. The bottom 40% are on some type of Government program. To think of asking them for anything is insanity. Seeing that in the end. More would need to be given to them to make up for it. Which is ironic. The more money the government gives out the higher prices go. But this does not excuse the grotesque greed we have in the top 1% who hold 40% of the country's wealth.

  • @JRMCNEA Are you stupid? America has the fattest poor preople on the planet. Half the country isn't homeless. This isn't Zimbabwe.

You could kill the CEO of Wal Mart and redistribute his entire income to all Wal Mart employees and it works out to about $5 per week. Wealth comes from growing the size of the pie not redistributing it.

The bottom 50% will ALWAYS be lower to middle class by defination NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO!

  • @MrGreeneggsnham I think its funny that even you say that if we redistributed one person's money it would give millions of people $5. And you ignored the Share holders and the other executives in the company. So if we killed them all that would be about what? a few hundred dollars a day? Deal. And no the bottom 50% will be working poor like they are defined today not lower or middle. Your ignorance is the reason the to 1% holds 40% of the wealth and the to 25% holds close to 90%

  • @JRMCNEA Wealth comes from production. Not from shifting around resources. Shares can be owned anyone. You want to steal from peoples 401k's and give it back to them lol? You want the government to raid everyones retirement funds and waste on programs? What the fuck? What will they do when they retire? Who in their right mind would ever want to invest in America if the government could just arbitrary seize your assets? This is what they did in Cuba. Are you some kind of communist?

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Yes wealth comes from production. Yet oddly enough the people who do the producing gets paid pennies and the people who only "Move resources around" are millionaires. What does Wall street produce? And how much are the people who build cars and other products make? And for a thief to cry foul when someone is trying to take back SOME of what they stole is lunacy. And the Government can't raid retirement plans the corporations have done that already.

  • @JRMCNEA Wall Street produces finicial services. The government doesn't arbitrary seize peoples 401k's and retirement accounts. We don't live under president Hugo Chavez. Maybe you should move there since you think economic statism is so wonderful. Medicare and Social Security are insolvent.

Corporate pensions are going to go bust because of the goverrnments low intrest rate policies but I don't really want to explain that whole thing in 500 charcter boxes.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham A Service under no twisting of the definition is "production". I guess you can call stealing money from people a "Service" of sorts. You said property. And the Government takes people's property everyday. And in 2009 Hundreds of thousands of people 401ks when poof. But good try trying to straw man deflect me. They do make good decoys don't they. Corporate Pensions are going to go bust because Corporations found a loophole to steal funds out of them. Done in 105.

  • @JRMCNEA No they are going to go bust because intrest rates are being held artificially low so the bonds in the funds are earning next to nothing.

Wall Street didn't steal your money. The government did then thay handed it to Wall Street, paid farmers not to grow food, paid some other people not to work, paid for bombs to be dropped on civilians in some third world shit hole. All of this shit is paid for by your beloved can't do no wrong gubbermint.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham "gubbermint" did all of those things because someone paid them to do it. Or while in government they decided to create policies that favored what they planned to do when they left office. And all of this happens because we don't hold them accountable for their mistakes their misdealing or even their criminal actions. Governmental officials should live up to a higher standard. Not have that standard brushed over them only on the merit of them being elected.

  • @JRMCNEA They did it because it's what the majority of the voters wanted at the time. This is what happens in a democracy. The mob rules.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Majority or Americans said let the banks go bankrupt. And they bailed them out. Most Americans said don't bail out the big three in the auto industry. But they bailed them out. majority of Americans were against QE1-5 but they still did them. Majority of Americans want there to be an investigation of the banks who "lost" 401K and pension money. But there has been none. Majority of American need help in the economy. But there has been none. When did they listen?

  • @JRMCNEA Actually the majority supported the bailouts at the time, shows how much you know. Those who opposed said they the bailouts didn't go far enough lol.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Majority of Americans apposed TARP(Bank Bailout) there was never a majority that wanted to bail out the banks... I think your thinking of the "stimulus package". these are not the same things but two different issues.

  • @JRMCNEA "•While initially supportive of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), public opinion turned against it very quickly

•Americans initially supported the stimulus, but once again, opinion turned against it very quickly. In February 2009, CNN/Opinion Research poll showed a majority of 60 percent favored the economic stimulus bill. In January 2010, a minority of 42 percent favored it.

Yep they are and the polling data was the similar.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Congressme got floods of phone calls telling them not to pass TARP. And lobbyist and economical advisers began hard pushing it. they threatened that the country would fall into a nose spin and some threatened that the country would be put under Martial law. And it failed and it was defeated. that next market day the stock market fell a few hundred point. Paulson came with another bill that had no restrictions and it passed. People where pissed.

  • @JRMCNEA Google "Bailout plan rejected - supporters scramble September 2008"

After the house rejected TARP the stock Market fell 800 points. And they brought it back and passed it after panic set in and banks threatened to not lend. As they wouldn't because they where going to die as they should have. And after people stood fast and said let them die. Congress tucked it's tail and did what wall street told them to.

  • @JRMCNEA Most people supported the bailout at the time. That's what the polls said. Just concede the point and move on.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham The Government arbitrarily seizes property every day... Companies have been stealing out of retirement plans for decades and Now they are jumping ship with all the money. But don't worry you can get medicare and SSI when you turn 63. You cry about what the government will do while the companies are ALREADY DOING it. Does that make any sense? Corporations are not on our side. Government is us. We just need to take it back.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Here is a better perspective. If the to 1% and the bottom 50% of this country traded wealth for a year. The top 1% would still be doing amazingly. And the bottom 50% would be lower to middle class. So attempting to get someone to shed a tear for a person who makes hundreds of millions a year having to pay tens of millions is Delusional at best. And just so you know the bottem 50% does pay taxes. on goods services and uses. road taxes city stickers.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham Our government used to have monopolies and we got the power grid the USPS. But conservatives preached about the evils of governmental monopolies and the grid was sold off. FEDEX lobbied congress saying they could do a better job then the USPS and they don't but They have commercials saying their products can get there faster. That is if they don't lose it like they do. And the lack of funds to the USPS they are dialing their services back to our detriment.

  • @MrGreeneggsnham A Government program is not a monopoly because the consumer is in charge of the program through the government and they are not for profit. This "free market" that your talking about is like a little kid talking about Santa or the Easter bunny. It doesn't exist and you don't know how it would work. And right now after centuries of cronyism and massive money giveaways to go to a free market system would only birth Monopolies. But we need to move closer to one.

  • @JRMCNEA Consumers are not in charge of government monopolies. You are forced to fund government programs weather or not you agree with them through taxation. Starbucks can't make you buy their coffee. Wal Mart can't force you to buy their products. The government can force Rodney King to pay the salaries and retirement benefits of the police officers that beat the shit out of him on national television because they have a monopoly on security services.
