  • Thank you all for the comments to my video. (positive and negative) This is a very controversial subject and the video was meant to bring awareness to the truth concerning banks and servicers of securitized loans. I knew years ago that the assignments were not recorded properly and the loans were sold illegally (up to 9 times!) One thing to note is that there were forgeries in my Deed of Trust. My mortgage "NOTE" was proven to be forged as was the notarized signature on my documents.

    ANYBODY who files for HAMP is subject to having their home foreclosed upon just for APPLYING FOR HAMP.

    A lot of people keep up with their mortgage payments by exhausting their savings and 401K's. They can't find work because of what the BANKSTERS DID with all of the mortgage money and deposits. The banksters used that money to create fraudulent investment schemes that bankrupted local economies.

  • @pococolo That is how HAMP works! You are forced to be behind on your payments BEFORE the banks will even talk to you about a home loan modification. But if you fall behind on your payments, then your home will be parallel foreclosed!

    That is the scam, and it's being done by our own government!

    there are literally HUNDREDS of lending institutions out there that deal specifically in mortgage refinance & modification

    plain & simple for you, because you need it that way, she had a myriad(have fun looking that one up!) of options, and she chose the laziest/easiest one and failed

    Zaxxon2008, you just don't get it. You CANNOT apply for HAMP, or the new unemployment version of HAMP, WITHOUT FIRST BEING BEHIND 3-4 months ON YOUR PAYMENTS! I think this is an impeachable action.

    The fact that you and others can't grasp such evil by our own government just proves how awful the HAMP program is for FORCING PEOPLE TO FALL BEHIND ON THEIR MORTGAGE PAYMENTS before they can be eligible for HAMP.

    as i pointed out several times, based on her TV interviews and this crap rap, she CHOSE to fall behind to get assistance from her own bank, rather than refinance with therms she could afford

    nothing about this was "impeachable"

    (some banks call for 6+months before HAMP... learn something)

    You're just not getting the concept of PARALLEL FORECLOSURE. To BECOME eligible for HAMP, a homeowner is FORCED to be behind in their payments 3-4 months. As soon as the homeowner does this, the banks begin PARALLEL FORECLOSURE proceedings on their home!

    If you listen to the lyrics more closely, her loan was going to balloon AND THE BANKS HAD NO DESIRE TO DO A NEW LOAN even if she qualified.

    The banks want a new homeowner so they can suck up a new home down payment.

    This is all just a shell game. If the banks think they can find a solid re-fi without needing to go to HAMP, just tell the homeowner. The triplicate and beyond in paperwork is the scam.

    Inquiring about options, please, get real. It isn't until a homeowner actually pays money that the banks get serious, and that is when credit scores can get dinged if if a homeowner doesn't like the banks deal.

    I Just saw a PBS news segment on the foreclosure scam. The bottom line is the banks were offered 1,000 per home loan mod, THAT'S IT! Mortgage servicers can generate THOUSANDS IN PENALTIES and FEES, including 700 dollars just to run a foreclosure ad ON YOUR HOUSE.

    Banks get four sources of revenue when they foreclose on a home, the original home down payment becomes theirs, late fees and penalties get piled high, mortgage insurance will pay out as well, and then, when the home is sold again, another down payment goes to the banks.

    That's a pretty good pay day.

  • monday55ok....you have a legal right to sue for damages. There is an incredible lawyer in Florida (that's where you are, right?) and I would be happy to give you his name. You were defrauded by more than your bank....

    My attorney is one of the few that have been successful in this. One case dismissed with prejudice and the home remanded to the homeowner. Mortgage voided, referred to the SEC and AG in NY....

    Don't take this lying down

  • @JustaCarpenterToo Unfortunately I am in LA CA where you never get your day in court as we are Non Judicial. I was in court 2.5 years ago and knew even the judge didn't understand yet. I asked my attorney to put the opposing counsel for pretender lender (local wheel man) and ask him my instrument was bought, Check cash or charge? I ask him to request the GAAP books cause the accounting doesn't lie and I knew my loan would not show there. I knew MERS had no standing.

  • I bought a house in 02'. I was offered a wide assortment of loan types. I did a little research and decided that even though at the time the ARM loan was cheaper, that in the long run I would be more secure with a fixed rate loan. I know some banks pulled some stunts out there, but, i doubt any of them, held a gun to these pppl's head and made them sign on the dottted line. Everyone is always looking for someone to blame, except themselves ! They gambled on an ARM loan and lost ! Plain & Simple!

  • Superb Video. Florida homeowners in foreclosure should consult with a lawyer whether it be legal aid or private. Most private law firm offer free consultations. Bank of America has had numerous class actions filed against them for failing to modify mortgages under HAMP.

Servicers made more money servicing loans in default then loans that were current, so they encourged borrowers to default so they could review a modification package. Foreberance payments DO NOT go to the loan balance but rather to a suspense account most likley used to pay attorneys and trustee's to foreclose.
