  • Will do. And thanks for all your help my friend!

  • Oh wow. I think I gotta get one! Are you an actual shop you can visit or is it purely online where you do your trading?

  • @verlaine4 best to order from eastwoodguitars website directly, they have all the Sidejacks in stock there.

  • Wow, thanks for quick reply! I'm using a Fender super reverb and when i need reverb I have a Fender outboard reverb.

Generally use a Levinson Blade modded with bare knuckle apaches, which is superb, but will not nail that Ventures tone..........

Which is where the Eastwood comes in.

  • @verlaine4 OK, that amp will be perfect. The P-90's on the Sidejack are much brighter than the Hoi-Flyer, so with the reverb drenched on your amp, it will sound great!

  • Loads of guitar snobs having a go at this guy! Give him a break! Jesus, thank you for this video

  • I like how you put EASTWOOD BRAND NAMES in CAPITALS.

  • Please Demo the >Guitar< and the natural sound of it , not the damn line 6 pod ! He didnt even touch the tremolo !

  • dude, what the fuck ? Your'e playing with a tube amp but using shitty line 6 distortion to demo a single coil guitar ?!? Not only that, but theres an actual krank sitting right there for your "Hi-Gain" (which this guitar is not suited for) that you fail to see. Eastwood should request that you take this down ! SHAME ON YOU !! tone rapist !

  • Why would you demo a guitar thru a f**ing Line6!? Scheech!

  • too bad Line 6 sucks. Doesn't do justice to the guitar.

  • Is it possible to get this guitar with this color but with gold instead of chrome parts?

  • going into a tube amp really wakes up the sound of that Line 6 stuff!

  • Actually a better guitar than a real Mosrite. Mosrites have a zero fret, which sucks.

  • This guy is absolutely ridiculous...every guitar he demos on "hi-gain" sounds exactly the same throught that cheesy-ass POD, which no self-respecting guitar would use or admit they use.

  • @dsbreese im gonna have to agree with you, if you wanna do guitar demo's you should play them clean just straight into the amp. every guitar sounds the same distorted. it's pointless.

  • is this one better then the hi-flyer? i like this headstock way more then the hi-flyer copy. the hi flyer headstock looks like a foot with three thoes lol

  • man me like that geetar

  • That is the sexiest guitar i have ever seen.

  • beautiful sound, If i am not mistaken he is demoing the regular sidejack and not the baritone. Also compared to the Eastwood hi-flier copy to the Mosrite copy do they sound equally great. I am wonderind if I should get a Sidejack or a Hi flier by Eastwood. I would greatly appreciated a reply. Can you if you can tell how the hardware compares, thank you.

  • yes, the SIDEJACK DLX, not the Baritone. The pickups on the SIDEJACK might prove to be more versatile thann the Hi-Flyer. The Hi-Flyer have higher output, but can feedback when paired up with a hi-gain AMP or heavy distortion pedals. The SIDEJACK performs well in any setup. Other than that, hardware is similar on both.

  • Thank you very much. I subscribed

  • once again, does the guitar come with the tremolo bar and all that. Even if i order thru the internet?

  • @myrareguitars is there a difference between hi flier and sidejack necks? and do they still have that cool mosrite shaped headstock?

  • @myrareguitars Hi I'm trying to nail that mid 60's Ventures mosrite tone (don't care about high gain etc). Do either the hi flyer or sidejack nail this tone?

    Thanks.......

  • Sidejack is much better than the Hi-Flyer for the Ventures tone. But perhaps more important is the amp and reverb. What are you using?

  • cool - does it use the exact same pickups as the Eastwood Hi-Flyer? (- if not - what's the difference?)

  • Do you work at pinecone??

  • Is the neck wider than most guitars? Say, a telecaster? It looks pretty fat.

  • No, it is actually a SLIM neck, 1 5/8" at the nut.

  • At the beginning of the video he states that it is a Sidejack Standard, but I thought the standard had a stop tail piece and the deluxe has the tremelo. Hopefully you guys didn't stop making the stop tail model. One more question, did you guys change the tremelo on the DLX? Awesome Guitars. Love my Airline Map!

  • Yes, it is the DLX model he is demoing, not the STD. Yes, we recently changed the tremolo to the Jazzmaster style (as shown).

  • I've got the same one, but it's the older version with the Burns trem. Same color too.

  • I love the Jag style bridge! And is that a baritone guitar?

  • this is not the BARITONE, we are doing some BARITONE demos next week.
