you know i really lost all hope for pikmin 3 and its sad i looked everyware for pikmin 2 for gc but not even gamestop had it :'( i got pikmin 2 for wii(through mail) but when i tried it it didnt work when i went to gamestop they said it wont work because it was PAL so i needed a european wii so its still sitting in my gameshelf(bookshelf)for 3 years it still sits there to this very day :'(

I think it would come out sooner than 2013. Pikmin games don't have huge worlds, or long, intricate stories. And they hardly have a world complex enough to require that amount of time to create. The re-releases show that the control-style is already more or less finished. All they need to do is polish what they already have, and it will be done in no time.

I'm expecting it to come out in 2011 at the latest. And that's only because of Nintendo working on bigger titles, like Zelda.

Yes, I've seen a few times when people edit Wikipedia, (I was one of them) and I realized that within a matter of minutes they fix it if it has any errors or misleading information.

Official Nintendo Magazine UK and IGN both made it clear that the Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 remakes were separate from Pikmin 3.
