  • Over 10,000 views on the first music video produced by easterfilmsdotcom!

Hope you all enjoyed the film as much as we enjoyed making it!

  • @easterfilmsdotcom My family was there at the graveyard the day you were filming... last July I think it was! It was a blast! You guys were taking pictures of my aunts dancing and it was a day I'll never forget. :)

  • what the hell is that dizzy goth chick doing with that piano?

  • yodeling bitch. STFU.

  • can someone tell me where you can find the lyrics amazing song

  • 5:29 - That zoombie girl is too happy

  • More like a text question. Anyone know where this cemetary is 'planted'?

  • To answer herzigdeb's question...

The main scenes were shot at the historic cemetery located at the north end of Virginia City, Nevada, including the main cemetery as well as the Catholic cemetery situated below and behind the main cemetery.

The opening "walking thru the tombstone" scenes were shot in the same cemetery, as well as in the Gold Hill cemetery and the Silver City cemetery.

The scenes in the saloon were shot in the historic Washoe Club in downtown Virginia City.

  • Great video, I must have been lost in the graveyard as I didn't know it was posted you-tube yet.......

    I loved the license plate.

  • Hey EasterFilms,

It looks like this video is going to be the most commented one on YouTube today! LOL :-)

  • Is this a joke? Does EasterFilmsDotCom agree with this? Either way, you are pretty pathetic HappylandStudio!

  • does it SOUND like a joke? I'm E.J. Wells, and my point is that I don't give a flying f@#$ about your silly little contest.

  • Ok, gotcha EJ. I understand that you don't care about my "Silly" contest. But, why did you enter then? And, what is the point of being so rude?

  • Rude, schmood. I'm just telling you how I feel about idiotic contests.

BTW- I DIDN'T enter, the guy who directed my video did, thinking it might be interesting. Did you notice that he's unsubscribed to your channel?

I mean, I checked out some of what you're doing on your channel.

Seems like a monumental waste of time to me

  • Why are you making comments, then removing them? Are you ashamed of what you are saying?

I'm really sad that he unsubscribed. That really hurt my feelings.

Wow, dude, you are an angry old man... it's actually comical!

  • angry old man? come see me sometime, I'll show you "old."

  • LOL... Ok? While were at it we can act like spoiled brats because we didn't win a "silly" contest (your words), then we can meet at the monkey bars and duke it out! Too funny.

I read your "very short" bio... it basically said, "Washed up, descent, musician from the 70's who writes music about his prized hearse and begs people to put his "Chart Topping" music back in the main stream." Does that pretty much sum it up?

  • Mysmallmindedjackass-

    Firstly, I don't own a hearse.

Secondly, I don't beg for anything, except maybe that your boyfriend would quit sending me come on emails.

That about sum it up for you?

  • Wow, that was impressive! Can't top that one! No way ever!

I see you didn't respond to the "Bio" part of my last comment. Truth hurts! Doesn't it? I feel bad now, I probably opened your eyes to the truth of your world. Sorry about that!

  • Thirdly, I have no idea what a "monkey bar" is, and I don't believe I said anything about "duking it out," although, now that you mention it, it sounds like fun.

  • LOL... I think we are already doing that on here! :-) Plus, don't want anyone breaking a hip! You know what's funny EJ? I'm actually starting to like you! This is fun... you got some spunk!

  • And another old age comment.

Keep 'em coming, then count the women lined up to get a little taste of old E.J.

    It boggles the mind.

And then...saying I have some spunk.

Of COURSE I have spunk, and of COURSE you're beginning to like me. Everybody does, there's really no fighting it.

  • ROFLMAO!!! (means "Rolling Around The Floor Laughing My Ass Off)

I bet you do have'em lined up! Do you buy your Viagra by the bag or case? Just kiddin... I'll stop with the old jokes!

You still haven't answered the "Bio" comment! :-(

My other questions is, "Are you starting to like me?"

Also, DUDE, please tell Scott Shriner that I'm a fan and love his "Greatest Man That Ever Lived" song! I'm guessing he wrote that about you? ;-)

  • Thanks for pointing out what ROFLMAO means. Us oldtimers need a heads up on all this internet shorthand.

Haven't found a need for Viagra yet. I have to take handfuls of tranquilizers to keep the old boy down.

  • Well, OK. As to my "bio." I really can't deny the fact that I'm in my early 50's.

I have no shame about it. It is what it is.

I'm a pretty vital guy for an old timer, and have more hair than most guys in their 20's. I have been playing music since 1972, yes, that's also true. But, I never wrote songs until much later.

The time i the joint rather "retarded" my "career," so I'm really just starting out, in a manner of speaking.

I suppose, yes, I like you OK. A good spar is a rare thing.

  • I will pass your comments along to Scott.

He did write a song about me called "E.J. Is The Coolest Futhermucker In The World," but Rivers wouldn't allow it on the red album.

  • I appreciate your passing the word on to Scott.

I understand the whole "hitch" in the career thing.... live and learn. I too, in a way, am restarting my life. I missed an opportunity when I was younger and have paid for it since. Won't make that mistake again.

Anyway, it's cool to see you out there trying to live your dream. In my opinion, age has nothing to do with that. I live by a saying, "Life's 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it!"

  • You are right... A good spar is a rare thing! Get's the blood pumping again! :-)

  • Look here, Slappy. Just because I said a nice thing or two, that don't make us best buddies. I like you better with your girly little fists up.

  • LOL... Sorry you old angry basterd! ;-)

  • It's on...again!

  • Bring it Crypt Keeper!

  • If you are such a big fan of Scott Shriner, why didn't you include "There's Something in the Graveyard" from E.J. Wells in your top 10?

Must not be that big of a Scott Shriner fan eh?

  • LOL... I really like the "Graveyard" video... :-) It was a tough decision on the top 10. But, I think it came down to "my" personal tastes in style. It wasn't anything that had to do with the finished product not being good enough.

E.J. and I have worked out our differences... we are old friend now! :-)

  • Apparently you have no real taste in music, if you passed on the E.J. Wells video.

And ease up on the "old friends" comments.

We're SORT OF friends. You like ME.

  • LOL... whoa now, didn't say I didn't like your music. You wouldn't have made it into the top 20 if that were the case!

How does "young friends" or "new friends" sound?

  • Sounds like some new age BROmance kinda crap to me.

And, I know, it's nigh on impossible to not dig E.J.'s music.

  • Ha ha ha... LOL!

  • Great stuff! I really enjoyed it.

  • FYI - Your video made it into the Top 20 of my "1000 Subs Contest." Good luck moving forward! :-)

  • sure, sure...it's all pretty fun, and funny, and such...but there really IS something in the graveyard.

  • Fucking GREAT!

  • Thanks, TheDullahan!

Can't wait to see your hearse! Make that video and make it fun!

  • nice video EJ ... greetz from Belgium Europe !

  • You heard right, Coreyvan38!

Scott whipped the first bass like a little bitch and tore the frets off it....

    Ha-ha-ha!

  • I heard Shriner had to switch to a precission bass half way through the video because the old bass exploded from Scott's crazy bass licks

  • Mosrites and Eastwoods and Fenders, Oh My!

  • Hub Cap Ride Cymbal!!

  • should have taken the hearse.

  • This video is marvelous! Best one I've seen on youtube!

Of course I've got to love it, my son produced it and he's marvelous!

  • Shriner is devastating.

  • scott shriner is so hardcore, he can raise the dead by playing groovy bass.

he also built the graveyard because he needed a place to put all of the people who dropped dead at the sight of him.

    devastating.

  • Fantastic job on the video! E.J. is the man!

  • It's weird seeing Shriner doing anything other than Weezer.

  • Loved it!

  • Nice work! Loved the music and the whole zombie apocalypse thing goin' on! Good job!

  • SWEET.. Primo edit Mark, glad I could be a part of the project.

  • OH MAH GAH even better than I imagined! Fantastic work, everybody.

  • i think the white hearst was a good choice. catchy song.

    ~lAUra

  • Hooray! Thanks, guys, for including my little zombie son in several shots. Love the finished video! Have you considered sending it to the Wide-Open Country segment on CMT's Pure Country TV station? (not the regular CMT) Wide-Open Country plays nontraditional country music videos, like rockabilly and bluegrass.

  • pyrotechc3h8,

The choice was white or gray. I chose white as a contrast to the black outfit that E.J. wore.

We were happy to have a choice between two hearses that morning. A husband and wife owned both and agreed to drive them up to V.C. early Saturday for the shoot.

You'll have to see the behind the scenes DVD we are producing to get the back stories.

    Coming soon.

  • Glad to see the end result! It seems you are destined to never have a black hearse in your videos though!

  • Great video... all sorts of good stuff! Lyrics are tremendous. Vocals. Guitar work. Drums. Keyboard. Even the dancing is cool.

  • Well done!!!! For me the coolest part is the end driving away in the white hearse and them calling come back with the license plate "Lastryd" ...ooopppps, I gave it away....;-)

  • Great video, good job.
