  • Wicked! Just bought these not more than 15 mins ago! Thanks for the tips!

  • Thank you very much for this tutorial now i know how to properly use them :)

  • Thanks!!!:)

  • I bought a new pair of this from Modell's, forgot how to use them, this video really cleared up , thanks a lot

  • Thanks for the help man - I've been baffled by these things for a few weeks - your video has just clarified everything! :-)

  • @RiffKing82 Awesome, happy to help!

  • wow, very well explained man. well done.

  • @nafism6969 Thanks, I appreciate the feedback!

  • ive been using my straps all wrong!

  • I just bought same straps ;p

  • what make are the straps in the video, or whats a good make of straps that wont cost me too much (upto £20 which is around $30)

  • @KilledByAPear Harbinger padded lifting straps, which unfortunately I can't link in a comment but if you search for that, it will come up. I believe I paid about $12 USD at a local gym's pro shop.

  • @fivestarrfitness I found them, thank you and thanks for such a helpful video

  • @KilledByAPear No problem at all, happy to help!

  • how do ya get off a pull-up bar while using them? they they just come away or will i be left hanging?

  • @Roaningdotcom A little of both - they are designed to keep you hanging if you maintain your grip on the strap material (that's the principle of their operation). If you let go, that doesn't mean you'll have a clean break from whatever it was wrapped around as many straps (like those in the video) have rubber to increase friction with the bar. Be careful and use a step while strapping and unstrapping yourself.

  • thanks...

  • Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you

  • Yep thanks for the tutorial, i went from deadlift 120kg to 160kg for 3 reps heheh much better thanks.

  • @BigKrash Awesome! Just make sure the form stays nice and tight - flat back and all that good stuff. I know sometimes when I try for too big of a jump there's the potential for form to suffer a bit.

  • ive just bought some YORK wrist straps and the picture on the back shows to use them the other way around

  • @m3llor69 Weird - I'm not familiar with York's in particular but unless they have a radically different design, this is still correct.

  • anyway great tutorial...:)

  • jesus...just show how to use them...too much talking...

  • @gymman82 I know, I am a bit long-winded. If only there was a way to skip ahead....

  • Awesome thank you

  • Very good tutorial, thank you man!

  • Great tutorial. This is a big help, thank you.

  • Great video! I've been increasing my deadlift weight and my fingers have been hurting. Just got my straps--same as yours--and there were no instructions. The company video is worthless. They should pay you to use yours! Many thanks. I will watch your other videos.

  • So i've been wrong for 8 year great... Thanks for the video :)

  • @Tobbz8989 Been there myself! Just think how much more productive the next 8 years will be now, right?

  • @fivestarrfitness Ohh yes ;)

  • Nice tutorial man hi5 for that 1

  • @colombiaJD Awesome, I'm always up for a good high 5!

  • @colombiaJD i second that..great video thanks

  • Nice simple tutorial. Just received my first pair through the post and this video helped me prep them in just 5 minutes. Thanks!

  • found this helpful thanks

  • Thanks a lot! I saw your video earlier today and had to buy new straps exactly like those when I was in town later :) Now I know how to use them correctly, I see a lot of weird usage of straps in the gym and was a bit confused. One of the best instruction videos on youtube!

  • @Apanblod Glad to have helped, and thanks for the kind words! Now go show people how it's done!

  • @fivestarrfitness Thanks man! I've just bought brand new straps and I was wondering how to use it, but thanks to you I already know it! Thanks again mate!

  • @barysznikow Awesome, just be sure to practice that one-handed technique and you'll be all set. Glad to help!

  • @Chills327 Happy to help!

  • Very informative. Thanks.

  • @krc0046 More on the way soon - just got my camera working again thankfully!

  • Great vid thanks

  • @onlyoneD Most welcome!

  • I just got these straps last week and used them one-handed ok. But I was stuck on how to use them with 2 hands! Your video was very thorough and now I think I'll use my straps like a boss!

  • @raydioaktivman Glad to have helped! Getting that 2nd hand strapped in is tricky once the first is done. Eventually it really does just become 2nd nature.

  • Real helpful and straight forward thanks.

  • @amequita21 Absolutely! I'm here to serve.

  • where did you buy those from i cant find as good place to buy from

  • @rossthabossx Check out there 'where to buy' page on Harbinger's site to find a local retailer (not letting me post the link for some reason). I got mine at the pro shop of a local gym.

  • Thank you for the step by step instuctions, the best "strap" video around i.m.o.

  • @beenkopfaan Thanks! I'm here to help!

  • @Mymic850 You're most welcome, I like to think I specialize in keeping people from looking like turds.

  • excellent tutorial how to use straps!

  • @Jatezki Thanks, I appreciate the feedback!

  • Excellent - the best "How to Use Weightlifting Straps" video out there. I have viewed about a dozen different ones. This is the only one you want to view. It is heads and shoulders above the rest.

  • @rugby12171954 Thanks for the positive feedback, I certainly appreciate it!
